Your hair is a tiara! I'm just a guy who is crazy for beautiful long hair. Thank you for your detailed instruction on braiding with many strands and your analogy to weaving. I like your use of the small bands. This style just kept going! I have often combined my wife's hair from two sides into one, or from a 5 strand into 3, but when you added the 3rd rope strand from the back, that was brilliant! I just have to convince her to keep it growing!!! Thank you for all your time sharing such great information and your glorious beautiful hair with all of us!
It would be great if you could add how long it takes you to do these hairstyles from beginning to end to get an idea of the time commitment. I'm so glad someone finally made no-heat, no hair extensions, super long natural hair, hair style tutorials! I have calf length hair and I always just wear it loose or in rope braids because I have no idea how to style hair as long as mine. This is super helpful.
You are so inspiring... I last let scissors touch my hair on Dec 19 2017, cutting off all the fried, dyed hair from my teens and early 20s. After 3 years my hair is 23 inches and your hair length is my goal. Thank you oh so much for sharing all your hair tips!
Great video :) It's a genius idea to divide the lower part of the hair, then cross it and make accent braids to wrap around the bun. It makes the area under the bun look very neat! Also pulling the curled tips through the front part. You are very creative and the result looks fantastic :)
Great to see a Regency hair tutorial aimed at very long hair, thank you! I do something similar with mine, although it's only waist length. Those rag curls were amazing! Something I definitely need to try.
I am so sooooo excited to find your channel and hairstyles I can actually use!!! ❤❤❤❤ my hair is about 6" past my knees and it's very seldom I find a hair tip or style that doesn't start with "cut off 3 feet of it"!! 🤣🤣 I love what you're doing, you're awesome! Please keep doing it 🙏❤
My braids are only “pigtail” length right now (growing my hair out), but your hair creations inspire me to do some experimenting. If you have any ideas for shorter styles, I’d appreciate seeing them - I love how your hair is a kind of canvas for your art. Thank you for taking the time to share your life with super long hair! 🌹🌹🌹
I love your hair and the style you created. I have hair to my waist and have been washing it with natural things for a few years now, not commercial shampoo. I use soap nuts, gooseberries and shikakai I think it's called, my hair comes out soft and fluffy then it settles down. I don't have to wash it very often either because it doesn't strip the natural oils from it. I look forward to learning more from your hair tutorials, even though my hair isn't so long.
I've been growing my hair for four years from an inch from my scalp and it's an inch above my hip. I am very excited to find this video and I'm going to do this style weekly for a year! (And check out your other hair videos). Your hair is beautiful and I hope I can have my that long one day! Cheers!
My grandmother is 88 yr old. I think she washes her hair as often as you do. It doesn't get greasy like mine, it doesn't smell and she doesn't have any dandruff. It's amazing
I just found this video and I'm so happy somebody who really has long hair shows how to make a vintage hairstyle. Normally the tutorials for 'long hair' don't work with my hair length and texture (it's about butt length and I can't tame it even though I don't even have curls, just some light waves 🤷🏼♀️) So keep up the great work! I would love to hear about your haircare and how you just wash your hair once a month. Mostly I need to wash my hair every 1-2 weeks and would like to try and wash it less.
Thanks! I'm definitely planning a hair-care routine video in the foreseeable future :) I'm really happy that my videos managed to reach you! I've always had a similar problem in the past: hairstyle videos claiming to be for "long hair" use a fraction of the length I have.
Gorgeous! I love regency hair and modern hairstyles inspired by it! I’ve been doing them for a long time, though I’ve learned a lot from your videos too! So well done!
Hey thank you for your tutorials ! I really wonder what is your hair care routine for such long hair ! Would you like to tell us more about it? Look forward to new videos from you. 🥰
This is awesome! You're hair is beautiful! I'm going to try some of your methods at the next regency era dace I go to. Thank you for making this. I can't wait to see more in the future.
Now that my hair is waist length , salt and pepper , but more white , Want to thank you for The updo you taught us when you rope the braid Around the head , I wear it now all the time ... But I have short strands Around my face cause it Makes it more “ modern “ for me , it suits me better ... you are lovely .. Do you cook Hungarian food ? It’s such good Food , one of the Best ....
Soooo great to have coffee does about Long hair🥰 mine is butt length atm, but much fiber & less of it than your luxurious mane😍 lovelovelove your colours. At 60, I'm still strawberry blonde. Mine also has a tremendous variety of hues, great for braids. Thank you so much
Yeah, I've been washing mine once a week thinking I was going as long as possible between washes. After finding this channel, my new goal is once a month. Ridding my hair of all its oils and swelling it then shrinking it with wetting and drying is something I only want to do when completely necessary. My bleached hair wouldn't grow far past my shoulders when I washed it every day. Now, even with ends that have been bleached 5 times, I'm quickly approaching waist length again. I had waist length hair that I box-dyed and washed+straightened every day (my hair is already straight, I wasn't a smart teenager.) I can't wait to see how long I can grow this stuff once it's all virgin hair in peak health.
Same! I see how for some people daily washing just cause extra sebum production than it would naturally but I've been washing weekly my whole life and and my scalp absolutely refuses to make less grease.
When I found your videos, my first thought was that You are the Hungarian equivalent of Karolina Żebrowska. :) (I hope I understood right and you are Hungarian.) I'm new to your channel and I have a lot of questions in mind. Why do you do your videos in English? What about your mother tongue? In another video you mentioned, you live on a farm. How does it happen that a girl like you with pretty fluent, high-quality English and huge historical knowledge in fashion runs a farm? (I, myself was raised on a farm, and in my childhood, not so many people would have chosen to live on a farm if they had had other opportunities in life.) What's your story? Have you talked about it in one of your videos? You are very creative. It's good to see that you channel body positivity through your haircare and hairstyling videos. This is something that younger viewers are craving to see.
Thank you Emese! Yes, I'm Hungarian 🌷 Hungarian is my mother tongue 😁 I was born and raised in Nagyvárad, so I actually grew up in a city. I moved to a farm with my boyfriend some 5 years ago, and got so accustomed to this life, that I find it hard to stay in a city for much longer than a couple weeks of holiday 😅 btw, you can find us as "Remény Farm" (here on RUclips and also on Instagram, etc) if you are interested in that aspect. 🌿
Oh you look so good with the hairsstyle! when the curls are hanging loose down the tiara you looks like a Fairyqueen! You coud also trying make the Sissi hairstyle with the Stars that would look super pretty with your silverhair.
Planning a Regency costume next Halloween. I was so lost on the hair because mine is also knee-length like yours. I'm so glad I found your video! This hairstyle is beautiful!
I have had very long hair most of my life. I know this is an older video. ANd you may have found a trick already, to get those tiny curls around the face. One thing you can do, is do braids and such, and place the hairdo, so that the ends of your long locks, are at the forehead. Curl the ends of your long locks, and pin them, so they are on the forehead, or side. I have done this trick myself before. ALthough, IT IS A LOT OF WORK! lol Seems me and you must have the same type of hair. I do not wash my hair very often either. And it is thick and wavy! and will hold curls until I wash them out! that is if the weight of the hair isnt left to pull the curl out! LOVING YOUR CHANNEL! Edit You basically did what I suggested! I should have watched the whole thing before commenting.lol
Great trick with the knee! I have used a dinning table chair. Sit backwards in it, and pull the hair through the space, to get the tention. ALthough, like me, you will probably end up with a back ache! lol And it depends on the type of chair you have as well.
AMAZING! I have seen a tutorial on making those side curls with paper. I think they are called 'papillot' curls. I understand the process while I watch but quickly become confused. I have also read that a lot of the side curls were false hair pieces that clipped on. Most women do not have enough hair to do....everything.....like you have done. I have lots of hair but I'm not sure I could do all that.
Just a suggestion for the ragcurls, it's easier (maybe not if you're hair is as long as PrettyShepherd's) to just unravel the curl the same way you curled it up. So instead of twisting up, twisting down. I have hair to my waist and that's what I do. Hope that helps anyone who wants to reuse their rags.
General question about Bobby pins: is there a technique? I remember not liking the feeling of them pulling against my scalp. Is there a way to minimize pulling when inserting and wearing your Bobby pins??? Your favourite hair noob Jenni
I wonder: One could pre braid the front hair then rag curl the ends. I was also thinking of how one could wrap them across the back first on the way to the front, perhaps with a weave in mind. this is so the beautiful crisscross isn't completely buried in random curls. Might help take up some of the length of it too.... Must Experiment!
I just can’t manage the 7 strands style that you Did with fabric straps In another video . Do you Have any helpful tips in regard for someone like me that ends up with A big mess of hair ...
Lol 😂 so funny preparing the style I can't do buns I get a massive headache. But the styles are beautiful ❤️ dose your arms feel like there going to break off just brushing my hair my arms hurt
I do have a question for you. Do you sleep on a silk pillowcase? My mother used to do that, but I never have. I think I would like to get one. Because, since I am retired now, I do not brush my hair out very often, but it does get horrible tangled at the nape of my neck. Sleeping on a silk pillowcase is supposed to reduce that kind of hair knotting.
There is a possibility that somebody already mentioned this, but historically women and men would purchase hair pieces to add curls or length to their hairstyles. So if someone didn't want to cut their hair in the manner that would allow the curls to frame the face, they could pin some in place.
Seeing the ends of your hair up close really emphasizes how long you've been greying. It's beautiful and I'm so happy you embrace it to the fullest.
Your hair is amazing! And finally a tutorial for us with long hair. I used to have knee length hair but know it's just butt length 😁
BRILLIANT idea about tucking your hair through the front!
