So yeah, Eurpeans, especially Frenchs and Italians were familiar with Turkish culture and I think they have found it very interesting. Turban should not be 100% Turk of course (Side note: There are hundreds of turban styles including Turkish khalifas' inventions) It is obvious that it was associeted with Turks in that time period.

THEN I CAN DRESS IN REGENCY FASHION REGULARLY IF I SO DESIRE! OR ANY OTHER ERA FOR THAT MATTER...LIKE VICTORIAN, ELIZABETHAN, RENAISSANCE, ETC ETC! Plus MOST "modern" fashion is inspired by, or has elements of, fashion/styles from history. Be if from the 1800s, 1500s, 1940s, or 1970s...
