    Option A for me personally, looks like it could have easily come from the factory like that but will stand out nicely from other TTs.

    Great Video again! The foam you talked about is part of the rust protection. My guess for the next episode is new tailights :D

      Thanks for the support, and that makes sense! I'll have to grab some from the store to put it back on in that case. That's a good guess haha. We shall see 😉

    I tried the colour 'n drive kit, here is my result (BMW car - Marrakech brown)
    -The colour is similar but not quite the same
    therefore if you look at the car after repair, from 2 or 3 meters, you do not notice anything.
    If you look closer like 1 meter or so, you see the colour is different, (90% similar).
    Drying took 15 minutes and was ok.
    All the rest of the kit : clear solution , paste or wax are not that necessary to be honest.
    In conclusion, the car looks better after repair/painting but the result is not perfect as the colour does not match perfectly even though similar. For 50 euros, you cannot expect the same as it was before.

    Avoid like the plague! They flat out refused to ship my order to the address I provided for no legitimate reason. I was also promised a refund which have yet to receive. I reckon it's a scam! If the refund doesn't go through by the end of the week, I'll file a dispute via PayPal.

    The body is not made of alluminum :) Maybe the side skirt is though, but i dont think so because they do rust.

    • @HunterDirection
      @HunterDirection  2 года назад +1

      Thats a great point about the whole body. From what I found online, most sites claim the skirts are aluminum. The rust makes me doubt that info though:). Thanks for the support!

      @@HunterDirection sorry for asking, but how do you know when to service your turbo, check your xlutch mastersylinder etc, because I bought a 2001 225 tt, drove it for 3 weeks and it broke, and what km do you get per L? I get 8km and that is way to expensive for me
      I like your car allot, keeps me motivated to keep mine, keep up the good work please 🙏

    • @HunterDirection

      @@00grootbul hey no need to be sorry for asking at all:) I'm happy to offer my thoughts(I'm just an enthusiast though). As far as my fuel usage i average about 23mph (~9.77kpl) when I'm not driving aggressively. As far as the service intervals go I did some research for you, anything clutch related usually depends on how the previous owner treated the clutch(launching and harsh shifts put tremendous stress on the systems and reduce the lifespan) as a general rule of thumb you can replace the fluid in the clutch master cylinder every 2ish years or when you find debris in it. Turbos are also a bit finicky when it comes to when they go. If the previous owner took care to warm up and cool down the car before hammering the throttle they can last a bit longer. What kind of symptoms are you having? The engine has alot of protective measures to prevent the turbo from blowing... Though if it's leaking or smoking you may want to get it checked out:)

    • @00grootbul
      @00grootbul 2 года назад

      @@HunterDirection for starters my turbo sounds like a supercharger 😂
      Allot of turbo lag
      Turbo stutter when I press the gas pedal al the way down
      The engine makes a weird noise (like a grrrr-grrrr-grrrr sound, lol) almost sounds like the engine is loose
      And now my lights won't work, they used to work but just decided they didn't want to work anymore, and I've also noticed that the buttons that open the fuel flap, boot etc also don't want to work, and when I disconnect and connect the battery, the buttons work again
      And the peep-peep-peep noise that always comes on when I start to drive, I have no clue what could that be
      This is al the problems that I noticed on the tt, I am currently trying to repair everything but I'm on a budget as I'm living on my own, so I have to save up for al the expensive parts
      I watch your videos every time I'm stuck on something, it really helps me out, I wish you could come to SA and help me fix my car, lol
      So please keep the videos coming, I'm sure it helps allot of people, not just me
