I like to use a vitamin C face serum in my daily skin regimen, so I chose the Riceberry Vitamin C serum. This serum is great, lightweight and non-greasy and not sticky. After using it, it makes my skin appear glowing and fair and addresses dark spots, day by day reducing their appearance in my skin.

You should also add Geek & Gorgeous C Glow to your list - which is £11 in the UK for 30ml. Also to slow down oxidation I purchased smaller 15 ml bottles, which I then decanted 10ml into it every few weeks so I don't keep exposing the 30ml bottle to air. I also store my C Serum in my fridge and take out the small bottle every morning when I need it. I only use it in the AM as I use retinol at night. Using this method a 30ml bottle will last me about 10-12 weeks in winter and 6-8 weeks in summer depending on how hot it is. If say we have a heatwave like last summer then oxidation is much faster. I throw out my c serum as soon as it starts to visibly yellow. I know some people say it's still useable, but I just prefer to order a new bottle. Using this method I end up buying about 5 bottles of the G&G C Glow a year = £55 which is much cheaper than the skinceuticals I used to buy for £155 for a 30ml bottle - so 4 bottles a year would set me back over £600. Now since studying the science of skincare and seeing results, I probably spend less than that on ALL my skin care a year - and that includes the cost of my prescription retinol (Dermatica). I also have the ordinary vitamin C powder which I mix with Hada labo hyluaronic lotion when I run out of the G&G C Glow. Stability is not an issue with the powder as you are mixing it fresh and this is why I store it as a "back up". But you need to have a gentle hand when using the powder, especially if you have sensitive skin and ensure you measure a small amount. That said for those on a budget I would highly recommend the Ordinary Vitamin C powder as it's very cheap £4-5 for a 20g bottle, which will easily last you 4-5 months, especially if you further decant the bottle into smaller 4-5g portions, so as to prevent oxidation. More importantly it is super fresh and super potent Vitamin C, so no need to add the vitamin E and ferulic acid, especially as some acneic skins react to the Vitamin E. Pure powder also gives the fastest and brightest results, providing you don't use too much, which can harm your skin. In fact I used this method before when I could not get the G&G due to supply chain issues during the pandemic and a bottle lasted me 4 months and I still threw half the jar away when it had started to yellow (my fault I left it out near a window during a hot summer). TBH I don't know why I buy the C Glow as the powder is much more effective, but I suppose it's the convinience and safety of the premixed formula. 🤷♀ I have also used the timeless and whilst it was effective, I found it very sticky/ tacky under my Azelaic acid + moisturiser + sunscreen. 😕 The best dupe of the Skinceuticals used to be made by a company called Cosmetic Skin Solutions. It was an EXACT dupe for $35 but L'oreal sued the crap out of them and bankrupted the company which then was sold to a Chinese Company who changed all the formulations and added alcohol to everything. 😝😝😝

Pls can you recommend a good sunscreen without vitamin e. Lol@asians adding alcohol to everything. I also don’t want alcohol in my creams. Unfortunately, I settled for a sunscreen with alcohol (Japanese) but not vitamin e
@@teeshaluv3757 I use either the La Roche Posay Anthelios (has alcohol) or Prem (Korean sunscreen) which is very light like the LRP but with no Alcohol. Just experiment and see what suits you.
