The ‘no turbocharging’ and ‘no push start’ should also be included in the good because normally aspirated engines last longer and the push start/keyless entry system is one more thing to cost money down the road should it tear up.

    • @mikea5205

A CVT is no fun, but could be a good option for older drivers. Leg cramps is common among the elderly and with a manual box, it could be dangerous should cramps develop while driving, especially in stop and go traffic.

About the handbrake, back in the days before DSP, you could get yourself out of a terminal understeer by pulling the handbrake. Besides, having been driving stickshift for decades, I find it hard to have an electronic parking brake. A lot of them will tend to hold them for too long and you end up stalling on an incline. That's what I don't like it.

Only 37? That’s seem low compare to other cars. This car is capable of 40+. Guess it all depends on other environmental and mechanical factor.

I believe Honda changed their mind last min. Even though you can't select it on their websites when configuring a 2020, there are still 2020 LXs being sold with a 6 speed manual.

@@DriversOnly That’s good to know. I just hope I don’t have to travel halfway across the country to find one on a lot. It’s hard enough to find a manual even with the Sport trim.

As of November 2019, you can’t buy an LX in manual anymore. The cheapest package in a manual is a sport with that dumb center exhaust. You’ll have to get creative if you want to install a receiver hitch for a bike rack of sort.
