This is one of my favorite songs from this problematic musical, and you guys could NOT have done any better. This was absolute perfection from everyone involved, and you can bet your buns that if I had seen this live, I would have lost it. AMAZING!!!
Beautifully sung my god !!!! although the guy who played Raoul could not hit some of the high notes it was mostly drowned out by the piano and the phantom thunderous voice. Really amazing acting. The back and forth could have though been more pronounced and clearer. The piano really drowned it out there and i feel that was the strongest part of the song. Overall Amazing you guys

Great performance guys! The next step, is to cut out the piano doubling. At beginning, all that's really needed is the bass pedal point. The vocals should be able to take care of themselves without the piano playing their part with them.

I'm having a hard time accepting such a boyish looking guy playing the Phantom! Great vocals though, but someone should have thrown a blanket over the piano.
When it's a college assignment the age is kinda unavoidable, haha. And, I'm not sure a piano with a blanket on it would sound very good, but I understand what you mean about its volume. We didn't have the luxury of separately micing and adjusting the level of the piano in relation to the vocals.
