Thanks for being so descriptive in your casting. I don’t watch, I just listen to these while I work. A lot of youtubers (not just total war) are hard to listen to bc they reference something on screen. Totally understandable. But I really appreciate that I can listen to you and get a clear picture of the battle in my head
Holy cow, FINALLY a Lizardmen game. I've watched you play tournaments for months now and haven't seen a single one - seems like everyone's been playing the same 6 rosters or so. Was hoping to finally see some razordon, but the ancient sally is still nice.
An excellent series of games! Seeing one of the first battles of the day repeated in the finals was awesome. It was especially cool to see the adjustments the players made. It showed the strategy that goes into the game, when we as players generally only consider the tactics.
The empire build had potential. Less outriders, more capture weight on point earlier could've made a huge difference. The missed micros where painful to watch though, maybe he was too focused on steamrolling the dwarfs with the tank? Anyway, hope to see something similar tried again, the standard builds are getting pretty stale imo
I legit think that... God how do I phrase this without having my name in the book... Ok I got it... The dawi are too "close to the ground" so most of the shots from the outriders missed. They have a bad calibration range. So they kinda have that shotgun effect. When shooting at let us say those freakishly and unnecessarily tall humans and elves they can land most their shots! But our short kings here don't have to worry about it! OH god i let it slip! No!!!
What Bretonnia needs is the big fat expansion it was supposed to recieve before The End Times more than 20 years ago. I'm talking about their Fey counterpart. They were supposed to be combined with the Fey. Knights wreathed in mist, blue and green charging against their foes striking fear into all. Joined with the creatures from the Fey. Knights Blessed by a literal Elven GOD! According to Loremaster of Sotek and the one and only Andy Hall AKA Lawhammer, Bretonnia is supposed to be an extremely terriffying foe for anyone going up against them. At their stagnate state however, Bretonnia is simply unfinished. It's missing its Fey counterpart!
I would love to see a coaching turny where each competitor is coaches someone who doesn't play multilayer to give them build ideas and advise while playing but doesn't do any of the micro
The talk about the lizards using ion cannons from space made me think: If an alignment in your planetary system causes a laser beam from space on your planet, some planet between you and the sun... is a lens.
Warhammer Fantasy 8th edition limits lords to 25% and heros to 25%. So if you take a dragon you are stuck with maybe 2 x lvl 2 casters. (Magic is different in 8th edition.)
Yeah, I'm also soured on that matchup for that reason. Your shooting on HE struggles into gyros, even with tempest and all that, mostly because the gyros can and will just bumrush your archers and oneshot-bomb them. The removal of fire whilst moving did almost nothing in this matchup. But the irondrakes are similarily problematic. Trollhammers outshoot anything on your roster (at cost parity) due to how survivable they are, and obliterate SE play. WP to Stinger on that last game though. I guess playing the rush is indeed your best bet, and cav archers immunity to knockdown and increased HP per model makes them an interesting avenue to explore.
Indeed. It was frustrating to watch gyros just sit amidst fields of arrow fire and generally not be bothered. Doesn't seem like there is a good way to punish gyro spam in this matchup.
Great to see High Elves putting in a solid performance! I think Tempest needs some milk, that first game I kept thinking how it basically just does tickle damage. Either that or reduce the wom price snd make it a pure snare to combo with bolt throwers.
I was listening to PirateSoftware telling stories from his time working on blizzard’s enforcement team, they were really creative in how they caught the gold farming bots.
The dwarvern flamethrowers feel invincible fighting just as well at 10% health as 100%, thinking on it if you replaced them with WW2 era flame throwers you really would be worried every time someone fired a fireball at you. I'd love to see chance of explosion added to the game with increased chance for fire based attacks, perhaps when health drops below 50% to compensate for the high tech, truthfully such a primitive flame thrower would be dangerous to the firer...
I don't really get pha protection instead of tempest..except maybe its to spam jade passive for global healing. I thought Allarielle only had light and high magic passive, but on the unit card i see jade one. Pha is really cheap

Finale was so fun to watch, especially with the history from earlier in the tournament. Great stuff man!

Great call Turin with “Since I’ve Been Loving You” as your favorite Led Zeppelin song. It’s chronically underrated.
Who doesnt like it man its one of their top songs. Peak rock blues

Epic final round! So good
When the Doomseekers arrive, cue the Guile theme(which goes with everything).
Woot! Fell asleep trying to watch, I'm back in the ring the bell got me last night but not today! Happy safe holidays to you and all your family too!
Happy Holidays!!
EPIC final game. Love to see the Dawi getting beat by Elves 😊

This is the way
Thanks for another great stream!

ayy another Since I've Been Loving You enjoyer. One of their best songs for real
Excellent finals game, love to see it!
The Semi was such an interesting build, would love to see that or a similar match replayed with better micro.
Loved watching High Elves for the win! TY StingerZ!
The elves winning felt so right, like the underdogs comeback In every movie
I'm torn with High Elfs and Dwarfs in the final. I have both tabletop armies for 8th edition and I love them both.
Games will be had.
Thank god I finally get to see Lizardmen in one of these tourneys 🙌

Any idea on the next AOE 4 stream?
@1:00:50 Fortunately male pattern baldness is passed through the mothers side of the family! So you are likely safe 🙏
Man. 95% of those outrider shots missed the short dwarfs CA needs to patch the calibration abit
Stingers my dude, reppin' the High Elves in spite of all the haters, love it! Shows they got some teef in the hands of a competent player.
The Dwarves had drone swarms before Ukraine.
amazing final match!
turin what server for classic wow?
The final game was wild. Beautiful High Elf victory.
Thanks brother

Spoiler:
Imo Dwarves are way overtuned. Stinger played incredibly to be able to win, but those gyros are so damn oppressive.
That's one for the book.
oof the HE win/loss
❤❤❤❤
Dwarves just suck to watch imho
