    So I've gotten my cassia and henna, rhaussoul, hibiscus, aloe powder, fenugreek seeds, along with slippery elm, marshmallow leaf, and flaxseeds, bhringraj, aritha, shikaikai, and neem. Girl, I've gotten all, let's go!

      Brandy I know this is an older video, but I've done the same haul. How are your experiences with Ayurevdec therapy going? When I do mine I only use 2 or 3 at a time at the most. I mix them as a paste and use aloe Vera juice instead of water. Also I let them set over night to really get dissolved in the aloe juice then the next day I add my conditioner and mix well. I usually let them sit on my head about an hour then rinse out. Sometimes I have to mildly shampoo depending on which therapy I use because sometime if I don't shampoo, my scalp gets itchy. The itchiness stops once I shampoo. But I really love my results on all the ones I bought and used so far. My hair is soft and moisturized and growing. I also have a good hair regime using organic products from Asleylaurennaturalproducts.

      Could you all say what kind of aloe vera gel you found. I made some gel with the leaves but for some reason it leaves a flaky residue after drying - the pure gel is nice but it takes a while to shuck it, then blend, then strain...i dont want a product with alcohol though...Curly Proverbz talks about aloe vera juice but I wonder what kind she uses - do you all know?

My hair is soft and on day 2 I didn’t have to refresh. I also have ash blonde hair and I didn’t notice a change in color. I was worried which is why I only kept it in for 1/2 hour. I too am so glad you are on youtube. I am learning so much about ayurveda and my hair is certainly benefiting from it. I have been using a henna tea for about 3 weeks now and I have to tell you that my hair is absolutely loving it. From the first use my hair felt instantly strengthened. I also tried in for the first time as a gloss with my Giovanni smooth as silk conditioner and I am head over heals in love. My hair was soft, smooth and so detangled. Another major way it has help is with shedding and breaking. I was suffering so much with hair breakage and in the 3 weeks I have used the henna my shedding and breakage has decrease markedly. I cannot thank you enough for all the information. Many blessings.

    Hi again! I used the henna gloss for the first time this weekend. I found that although the mask did seem to be moist when I opened the bag, it was mostly the oils included that gave it that look. I took a couple of small clumps and mixed it with water and then with a deep conditioner. I have no idea yet if it will help with growth, but I did notice immediately that detangling was easier and that I had far less shrinkage so my hair immediately LOOKED longer once it dried. It also had nice movement and fullness, which I don't always see on day one. I'm excited to get this into my regular routine and will keep you Posted! I've also recommended it to my sisters so we'll see how it works for them. Thanks!!

    I started using the original gloss as a pre poo an hour or so before I wash my hair, as I had a hard time getting it all out using it post poo.
    I've only used it twice, but I've noticed that it makes detangling easy and I'm noticing it's helping to form curls at my crown where my hair is usually just frizzy with no discernable curl.
    I'm going to continue using it weekly to see if my results continue. Now I can't wait to create the oil!

So many products and oils and masques and conditioners and co washes and ayurvedics and sweet Jesus save me. Lol.... I would also really like to regrow areas that have thinned perhaps from stress or alopecia from headbands maybe. If it is genetic then nothing can be done but I would like to try! Thanks for the great videos. If any of you know a good place to start watching for a beginner beginner as this is the first time in my life I have EVER had hair this long, suggestions would be amazing.

    • @jacinthatjon5101
      @jacinthatjon5101 7 лет назад +5

      Mach02 Mike start with the fenugriek oil. It can help with regrowing the thinner parts and stimulate hair growth all over. Get a good moisturizing deep conditioner. After that you can add Henna or Cassia as a gloss by mixing a little bit with your conditioner.
      Apply your leave in and seal with an oil if you need. It can be Coconut oil or whatever. You can make the diy Amla oil and seal with that.
      This is how I did it. My lattest addition was the tea.
      You need to break this stuff down in bite size pieces because Miss CurlyProverbz dont play with this hair stuff😂
      Now go grow that beautifull mane!

    I'm kind of confused as to what to do, How do you rotate between the tea, hair growth oil and the gloss? Can you use them all in one week? Can you use the tea and the oil together?

    • @itsme-ye3iz
      @itsme-ye3iz 7 лет назад +15

      sassenav12 The video she did last month on How to Build an Ayurvedic Regimen explains how to start incorporating the gloss and tea. I think the idea is that they're so strengthening you start off rotating them. But once your hair gets used to them, you can figure out a regimen that works with your moisture/strengthening needs. In another recent video (don't remember which) she did add the loose tea to her oil infusion. I get the impression you can use the oil as often as needed (for massages, sealing, etc).

    • @itsme-ye3iz
      @itsme-ye3iz 7 лет назад +15

      sassenav12 And yes, you can use them all in one week (seems like she at least does the gloss on wash day and uses the tea during the week). But she suggests you should start slow because it's so potent

    Yes it really does affect when mixing only cassia. Now in my 3 week using it I can feel how powerful this herb is. The deep conditioner blocks in my opinion cassia's action. Using cassia for 2 months just now in the third Im really happy. So but worth the lesson.

      Same here (my mom calls it my 'sparking wisdom'). I like my silver hairs and I've heard that Cassia can tint the hair yellow, but I've made one of CP's glosses with Cassia and used it once, left it in for about 2 hours and it didn't affect the color. It did loosen up my curl pattern and it cut down my shedding/breaking by 90%. I was stunned.

    • @rebeccabell2743
      @rebeccabell2743 6 лет назад

      I love my salt and pepper/silver hair too. I want to use Cassia as well. Some hair care products that are not white or clear will discolor gray hair. I decided to go for it and uses a silver shampoo brightener once a month. Jamaican black castor oil even discolors my gray. But that oil is making my hair thicker..so I will keep using and use the brightening shampoos to take out the brass.

    Hey so I just found your channel today and I've watched all of your ayurvedic hair videos! I'm very interested in trying out some of these methods. I have been natural for a few years now but my hair doesn't seem to be growing anymore. I believe I have a lot of split ends and breakage going on. I really am excited to try out some of your suggestions as soon as possible! Which gloss should I try first? And how often do you use them? I was wondering if you could do a video on how your wear your hair to bed and then how you re-style it when you wake up. Maybe you already have one and I just missed lol I just thought that could be a good thing to see.

      @honestlykeyshua7628 7 лет назад

      Honestly Keyshua I have 4a hair extremely prone to single strand knots from wash n go's. I agree- keep hair moisturised and stretch as much as possible. Sometimes we have to do wash n go but don't keep doing it for prolonged periods -like a week or more.

    • @honestlykeyshua7628
      @honestlykeyshua7628 7 лет назад

      Thanks, honestly I cant even go 2-3 days without some kind of disaster.

    • @unabashed
      @unabashed 7 лет назад +8

      Honestly Keyshua I didn't know that was the source of it. I stopped flat ironing my hair 2 years ago and started wearing it completely natural, just washing it and leaving it...i have about 2893 single strand knots and I cut out at least 20 a day when I have time. They are in the middle of the hair shaft as well so it's not like a good trim will get rid of them. They're all over the place. I feel like that 2 years is lost because I wanted to leave my hair alone so that it could grow...and then look at what happened. Smh.
