- Yep, US baseball has replaced footie at WESTHAM stadium. MLB London series: Mets V Phillies. I head over for my first ever baseball match, meet some MET supporters who explain this game to me. It is a version of rounders really with a few adaptations, anyone remember playing that at school?
I found the noise and repetition of the jingles irritating, it did me he'd in! The game was slow at times and was delighted that someone won so I cold leave. An experience it was but not for me, I will stick to football.

This is a really amazing video! ❤❤❤
Thank you so much!!
Baseball is really a defensive game. Thats why the defense controls the ball. The strategies are the main thing many dont understand. Different situations dictate what they do. Not just the score but the players for instance a hitter with a high average gets pitched to differently than one with a low average. What inning it is makes a very big difference. I wont go on any farther. To see more watch the 2023 world series on RUclips.
I was focussing so hard trying to understand the game, first one ever. I was lucky to have fans next to me that made a special trip over to watch the game who explained. I suppose if I was in the US I would get more involved. I must say I did like the atmosphere; both sets of fans were mixing together in within the stadium grounds--very different from football, so I am impressed there. Will certainly try an swatch ice hockey, basket ball and American football next time :)
@@jollygeniussworld If you ever go to Boston during baseball season go to a Red Sox game at Fenway Park. It's the oldest major league baseball park still in use, built in 1912. Has a famous big green wall in left field to shield the street behind it known as the "Green Monster" and in 2003 they put seats on top of it that are like a canopy over the street behind it. Boston is my home team and I'm a season ticket holder so I go there frequently.
