In 1998 I was in Beaumont hospital with cancer waiting to go for the operation the next day. I just wanted to go home as I was afraid. So I went down to the radio station in the hospital and asked them to play this song for me. It really calmed me down and made me feel that I would make it home. Its now 24 years later and all is good. So thank you Jon and Vangelis you helped save me :)
l played this song at my mum funeral she had passed away 20th Apil 21 and her funeral was on last monday a week ago l do so missed her so verey mum 😥 she was 92yrs i was her son & care & now she is with her brothers & sisters also with her mother & father 🙏 and for an up date saldy we had also losted another family member my sceond older sister from a stroke this yr in Jan, she was 67 and she is with our mother take of each other will miss you both but you will be always in our harts. and a other spaner in the works just recently we had lost a work mate where l work at heart attack he was 49 left behind 2 teenage boys with special needs 🙏 and thanks eveyone who had put thier👍 up thank you.
Agreed.....I never got the chance to see them live together, but I did get to see Kitaro and Jon Anderson in concert when they came to Vancouver BC. I was riding motorcycle couries at the time and had a earphones in under my helmet listening to CFMI FM when they annouced the Dream concert. I quickly zipped over to the local ticket shop and scored front row just off centre........Great concert.

It was playing in the car radio when we were driving home from my son's boarding school to which we had returned him on Sunday evening, and we were happy that we had found a place for him where he felt so well. Twelve days later, when he was again with us, I found him dead in his bed in the morning.

Compiled and aired by Marek Niedźwiecki on 24 April 1982. From that point it has started everything which counts in many people's live here.
I know this song from my childhood in the early eighties. I didn't understand english back then, nor did I have an idea what the song was about. It was just sort of a magnetic tune from the radio. So I can tell that it's actually Vangelis' music and sounds that sort of implanted this song into my subconsciuos mind. It was just a few years ago that I finally learned that this is a work of Jon Anderson and Vangelis. Now another friend has been diagnosed with cancer and is not going to make it. They never got old, just when life should be at the fullest with a relationship, kids that are getting kids they were just gone suddenly. This song gives me comfort, the bigger picture song as I always tell people. And when it's my Time this will be played at my funeral.I'd rather wait for about the next 40 Years, but Carpe Diem is my motto, later has already begun when you are born.

No dogma, no "rules," save that of living a life of open-hearted, loving non-judgment. Jon is truly a Higher Being showing the world what Love is, bottom line.
