12 ਅਨੰਦ ਹੋਵੋ ਅਤੇ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ੀ ਕਰੋ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਫਲ ਸੁਰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੈ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਥੋਂ ਅਗਲਿਆਂ ਨਬੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸੇ ਤਰਾਂ ਸਤਾਇਆ ਸੀ।

Guru Gobind Singh Ji revolutionised Punjab's society when he created khalsa.
Ordered to use only singh and kaur instead of castes.
But, its implementation is still lagging.
SGPC may vehemently oppose casteism but mere opposition change nothing unless complemented with ground level measures...
I feel SGPC tackles this problem with negative attitude claiming SGPC do not acknowledge caste (negating its existence) but their negation does not change societal structure, land ownership, power structure etc... Will it change?
They should have used positive measures but what's funny is that, the only positive measure (reservation) given by constitution, historically SGPC used oppose it... After 1970's they changed their stance realising that this opposition will lead to mass religious conversion...
In the end, I will say, SGPC must start using positive measures rather than using negative methods to tackle this problem...
If they use positive measures, I don't think anybody can ever think of leaving Sikhism...
Guru nanak teachings are wholesome, complete... Had SGPC successfully forwarded even 5% of teachings given by GURU nanak ji, 90% of North Indian Dalits would have been Sikhs...
