It amazes me how you remember rivers like a NYC cabbie. Very few on earth would giggle, cheer and give out beta like you on such a remote, epic run. Great crew too!
Was great to see you guys representing for the US in North Wales a couple of weeks back, sombre times but much appreciated. Even better to see you out having adventures. Looks like a great trip!
Your videos are always the best! Pure whitewater kayaking and its natural sounds just like it should be experienced. Thank You Dane for sharing the joy, excitement, and adventure!
Obligatory comment on the absolute batshit insanity that is the Tanzilla Slot and how the ENTIRE Stikine funnels down into that 😳 The view at 13:54 is out of this world
So how do you really feel about the Stikine? Just kidding. I love that you get so much enjoyment out of running rivers. Did you know that red boat was in the hole? Scared me. Love the pink ring. Thanks for taking us along and stay safe!!
Amazing river. Great run. Thanks for sharing Dane. What am I missing about the big hole on Site Z? Looks like it can be missed on the LHS. I assume the lead in is tough to stay left?
There is a gnarly pile of rocks on the left side of the hole that wouldn't be fun to go over. It's a long rapid with some bigger features leading into it that would make it hard to stay left anyways.
hahah classic tire problems ! they sell all the 1500's (gmc ,dodge , ford ) with P rated / 4 ply tires and at a minimum should have C rated or ideally E (10 ply ) for off road use . was Blake Miller the only kayaker to know how to change a tire on a truck ?
Everyone has their own crews. Even though it’s far north and remote, the logistics are pretty straightforward in terms of the put in, take out etc. but it also helps if anyone in your group has done it before
@@danejacksonkayakkeep a kayak at my house at Terrace . My Jackson kayaks are all larges . Felix had good luck flying in and out of Terrace and Smithers with kayaks .

Great kayaking, nice to see some c1 on the water too
Landon Miller is pretty insane, don't see many C1's and even fewer going down class 4/5.

@danejacksonkayak Thanks, Dane. Makes sense... Great to see you back on the water and sharing your adventures. Stay safe.
Need to look for a whitewater boat.
Sick. What class is this?

❤❤❤❤❤ awesome
Dane!
PS is Landon the first person to c1 down the stikine?
Tad Dennis did it back in 2017, he even did site zed in both K1 and C1 in the same season.
Who organized everyone? It's such a remote place to paddle

6:53 perspective on the size of features 😅😮
So the hole at Site Zed is brutal now?
Yeah it’s much more like a pour over, and there is now another pour over below it so it’s quite stout
Yew!
Where is the clutch pov
Got the Clutch out for my 3rd lap so coming soon!
not sure why people are flying into Vancouver and driving 20hr when you can fly into Terrace and rent a car and drive 5.5 hr to put in .
Those last legs into those smaller airports are usually on planes that they won’t put the boats on, so it’s just safer to fly into Vancouver.

Was that an El Camino ? 😂
