Wow Dane, I think you have a photographic memory to remember all those lines for so many different rapids! One of the excellent reasons I love watching your kayaking, is that You take us to amazing beautiful places not all of us could go and experience. Riding safely on your helmet and hearing the rushing water and getting sprayed in the face is a very surreal experience. Thank You for sharing all your adventures with us, Stay healthy and safe!
Oooh....I have wanted to try this since backpacking there as a kid. Thanks for letting us live vicariously through your adventures. I still have a long way to build up my skills before this one....
Always a great video. Still amazed at what you all can do. I look at that river and say no way can someone go down that but you constantly prove me wrong. Thanks for sharing.
Entropy. Life is entropic. Kayaking can be entropic too, but in a much more fun way. Beautiful scenery, and sick laps! Tough to beat, even if you're just watching the video. Guy in the blue boat saving it with a high brace... he's got the feel of it. And Bren with that "I love this and I love life" grin on his face... This video was a marvel to watch. Every second of it was fun, and it was over too soon. Which is the better slide, Graceland, or the one on Tenaya Creek?
I noticed you had some additional padding added for when you shoulder your boat. Any chance you could post a video or a photo of that? If you do it on IG as a photo or a short here that would be great. Just got a Gnar and notice when I shoulder it the boat wants to sit on my shoulder between the hip pad and the thigh hook. I'd love to see how you padded it out and taped it up so clean.
I thought you were going to start incorporating music in your videos at the very beginning. Thank you God. You chose not to. I hate watching expert kayakers run some crazy white water with music. These videos are amazing.
1:46 when paddling like this i also cross my legs (and getting some insults from my friendswho dont do so for no reason…) But i guess thats just GOAT Things haha 🐐🤝🐐🤣
It’s where on a drop or a slide, you will disconnect from the water at some point, then land back on either the slide or a shelf or however the rapid is
I didn’t have it at this point haha, as always my posting my videos is way off from proper timeline haha. But the Gnarvana is still the boat for the stouts, the flow is great for the joy laps.
Please more drone and shore shots and less or no helmet cam. You go everywhere I am now to old and broken to go. Please take the jump into production value. Good Luck
Considering Dane and his sister Emily are the principal owners of Jackson Kayak/Adventures, I'm sure they're doing just fine. Eric Jackson built the company from nothing into the largest brand in kayaking history.
You are a machine. This is awesome. John Grace was an absolute legend to fire that slide up for the first time!

I'd be so scared of grinding my face off in that slide!

2:45 it’s nothing like Norway 😂 California as hell!
What is a “reconnect” in describing a rapid?

Check out Dane’s hands - relaxed. Inconceivable.
Was this something run/recorded recently?
This was from in July, just putting them out now.
The New Flow didn't last long. Bwaaahahahahaha getter done!

I know you don’t do it for the money, but hope they pay you what you deserve.
