Great vid, I have put a deposit on a 2018 1260 with 20k miles just had the Desmo service and has full Ducati service history it is £9k.

Thanks :) You did well to get a 1260 at £9000! but as predicted... as soon as the V4 came out, the prices for the 1200 and 1260 would drop quite a bit, as people trade up for the newer model. Have fun with it, and ride safe 😁

I can really relate to your comments around power. I ride a Moto Guzzi V85TT here in New Zealand and the far lower power level actually makes it a nicer machine to ride than other more powerful bikes. I've always liked the Multistradas - Indeed I rode a 950 model a couple of years ago and thought that it had all the power you'd ever want on the road. Enjoy and I look forward to seeing more videos abut this one. Try a V85TT and see what you think.

Just to let you know brake fluid is normally done at desmo service oh after 1000 miles or so you get used to the riding position. If you find the throttle snatches in sport mode you can fit a spacer in the throttle linkage.
The start up is also normal as the bike is set up to do 1 engine rotation before attempting to fire, swapped
the battery on mine before found this out.
Ride safe and enjoy the Multi

I just got one of these a few weeks ago. A 2016 with 20000 miles for £5100. It's a cat N though, but only had a few scratches and a broken hand guard. Desmo service was done a few hundred miles ago so really chuffed with that. Maybe you should do a video or two about cat N bikes, there can be great savings to be had.

Good move getting the top end done while it was in for belts. They often need a few shims, so I wouldn't worry about that.

@@Budget-Cars-And-Bikes maybe. Afyer the service you could probably vet all your money back and buy a newer one. The 2020 right before the V4 I hear is a fan favorite. If you wwnt a new V4 you might as well go with the BMW. The BMW and the newer V4 are stupid expensive. Hard to find a multistrada 2020. Everyone wants to keep it.

@@Budget-Cars-And-Bikes 2 of my favorite youtube riders took out the bikes head to head. Off road. Town. Track. Tour. They road the crap out of the bikes. The GS ultimately beat the new v4 at almost everything. Neither of the bikes lived up to their claimed HP.
Their both really good. I guess if you like the way the multi looks get it. The GS was "better" it an extreme competition. The GS doesn't have adaptive cruise either.
