Thanks for this video man much appreciate learnt a lot will be working on my turbo as its currently loosing power.
HI LSA Team
About to replace my turbo as the turbine oil seals have gone - is it possible to replace the turbine side without removing the exhaust manifold as these two parts separate?
Thanks
How did you fix the error bolts
Hi LSA, i have a 2.2 diesel turbo, i have a small oil leak from the turbo on the passenger side, do i need to change the turbo or is it something else that could be causing the problem?
Good Job!
Thanks!
great video. thank you! but i have a question regarding removing the turbo charger. if we remove all air filter pipe installation, can we try to disassemble the turbo charger from manifold from top? meaning, have you tried or consider this option?
Hi there. I just removed mine (Mondeo 2.2) in similar fashion to this video and it took about 6 hours. However I just found a resource on TalkFord forum where someone separated the turbo from the manifold and left the manifold on the engine
pls share :)@@as3cs3
Hi after watching this I was wondering if this is what's wrong with my car. Ford Galaxy 2012 fault code P1719 drives ok changes gear but when the fault comes on feels like a box of spanners in the gearbox reset fault it's ok till next time?
Is it different for Ford Powershift gearbox.
You'll need a gearbox specialist for that.
Hi LSA Team, if I would replace have my turbo replaced with a new one, is it just plug and play? Or is there some turbo relearning process? (X-Type 2.2d)
As far as I am aware you don’t have to relearn the turbo. But if you a diagnostic tool you can reset adaptions to be shore
@@lsateam1491 thank you LSA Team
can the turbo be removed from the side bolts without removing the manifold
I don't think you have access to everything
