    Car runs like new. Epic. Loads of smoke and the engine light was on initially when I took it out which wasnt on before but one good blow out and it's gone off now. Cheers.

    thanks for making this useful video, I need to clean the colector zone too, I changet to new egr and in cold I still get like pulsating acelaration, and if I disconnect the egr It works fine, but I think the egr is good for the car, gets more boost than if I disconnect it, keep doing more videos of this car, I have this one too ;)

      I’ve got some jaguar x type videos uploaded already. The last upload is how to clean turbo and exhaust manifold. The cleaning process is easy. The most difficult part is to remove the turbo and exhaust from the car.

      That’s the intake. Exhausts/turbos on the back.

    Brilliant video very instructive and clearly explained, could you please tell what the O Ring is called or part number between the EGR and the manifold as I am having trouble trying to source one. Again thank you for the video.

      @@lsateam1491 The link for the o-ring doesn't take you to that part, it takes you to the exhaust intake gasket. Can you find where you got yours from again? Hoping to do this job next week but can't find the o-ring online. Thanks a bunch, great video!

    Hi, great video. Very useful. Only there's something wrong with the product links in the video description. Instead of manifold gaskets I get the EGR gaskets. Would you please be so kind to disclose where to buy the manifold gaskets including maybe a correct link?

      Hi. I Got my Felpro Manifold gasket from eBay for a fraction of the Dealership cost nd it was OEM part. Check them out.

    Hi bought a new egr for my 2.0 but it doesn't have a connector for the clip like my old one, this would be cause of the engine light showing right

    • @lsateam1491
      @lsateam1491  4 года назад +1

      King Cobra I suggest you to double check the parts number. If is not the same as your old one then it might not work as it should

    Do you know how to check the egr when it's off the vehicle?. I have 2.0 diesel, the egr is different to the one you have but I have another egr from the same vehicle which I have cleaned up, also using Mr muscle! You should also do a vid about blanking/deleting the egr

    • @lsateam1491
      @lsateam1491  4 года назад

      HogwashMan I did check the EGR with delphi tester using the function menu. I don’t know any other way to check it. Also you want to look around and see if all the valves seal off properly.

    • @romandise
      @romandise 4 года назад

      I do not recommend you to deleting the egr in cold days the motor needs it, I know that makes the motor more dirty but the problem is that we run this car at 2000 rpm at 120 km/h and in the city its when the egr is getting more dirty

      Also is not a good idea because you can get fined

    • @pjpeterjay
      @pjpeterjay 4 года назад +2

      @@romandise Nonsense. The EGR is specifically in place to reduce diesel gas emissions. Therefore emission tests will show less. Cold weather has no benefit for this, in fact the opposite. Depending on the vehicle the EGR can be blanked with no degradation to engine performance. 2.0 diesel with a total blank plate and 2.2 can have a small 8mm hole in the plate. The diesel car should normally prove around 149-154 co2 emissions without the EGR blanked. If it's blanked it will show higher rate. You will only possibly get fined if the car is examined, maybe at MOT time. Remove the plate for the MOT.! The EGR can create, in the longer term, more issues than it's worth. Look at the unnecessary crap on the video from the EGR and manifold.!
      That's a true story!!
