Love the behind the scene videos. I usually just coat salts in mica alone. I love the alcohol technique. Can’t wait to try. Thanks👍 looking forward to the weekend video.
A small tip for you. If you mix your mica with a bit of rubbing alcohol before you add it to your melt and pour it will mix easier and without the clumps
Hi Keeley, I made my first soap today!! I think its a bust though. Forgot the fragrance so even though it was in mold I stirred it in anyway. I will have to throw this out but it was fun making. That lye water takes forever to cool. I am going to give it another shot tomorrow. Thanks for your inspiration. Have a blessed day!!
Don't through it out 🧡 I have seen some mix tricky fragrances into the soap once in the mould so that's not a bad thing. If you feel it's not mixed enough, grate the soap up and rebatch it. As its fresh soap, you'll only need a little liquid to melt it down and then give it a good stir and remould. It will have a rustic look but will be safe to use 🧡 I usually make all my soap oils and lye the night before so when I get up in morning I can make soap
Thank you for telling me about mixing my lye and oils the night before because I was getting anxious waiting for it. I don't know how I can send a pic after I cut it. I would really like you to see my first attempt.
@soyandshea I love the mid-week videos and these behind the scenes info. Interesting that you use alcohol with your mica to coat your Epsom Salts. I generally just use mica to coat the salt. Does it make the mica adhere better to the salts or is there some other reason why you do it this way. Great work Keeley, looking forward to the weekend video :)
Thank you 🍩 I found using the alcohol helps to create a more even coat and it sticks better. When I don't use the alcohol, I found the mica rubs off easily
Awesome soaping Adventure Keeley, those are beautiful
Thank you 🍩
Such darling little embeds! I love your ideas. I bet this would be great done in blueberry blue with a blueberry muffin oil!~ Jill
OMG you have my mouth watering ❤ thank you for watching 🍩

Wonderful as always😍 but Would it be a bad idea to substitute mp for cp embeds? I'm On a budget. lol. Thanks in advance 🙋♀️
Thank you 🍩 not a bad idea at all. If I were making these with CP I would make sure to add Sodium Lactate so the popped out easily 😊
Hey Keely
Hi. Thank you for watching ❤
