We provided Beth with everything necessary to make chef Frank’s eye-popping $203 chicken recipe, sending only $17 worth of materials back the other direction. It's Goose Island Bourbon County Imperial Stout. Being both bourbon barrel aged and an imperial stout I'm unsurprised by that price point.

This was SO AWESOME two humble people coming together to have fun!!!!
First, I love the chemistry that Beth and Frank have.
Second, BBQ Salt is something new that I learned.
Third, Frank missed out by not adding "Frank's RedHot" sauce. Sure, it wasn't part of what was given, but oh the irony would have tasted great!
I'm amazed Beth hasn't made her own BBQ sauce before. Maybe I should loan her my recipe for my BBQ sauce. Or have her compare it to Frank's white sauce

Alabama White Sauce is so great. I hadn't heard of it before I visited a friend in Alabama lol. Ever since then, I've had to explain to my west coast friends that it's not gravy. Also I'm a cheapo and just buy a bbq sauce and then add to it based on how I feel that day. Feel like it lasts longer and is more adjustable than making an entire pot.

They are so cute. They have been working together for years at this point. And I'm with Frank regarding the raw bell pepper. I won't avoid them if they are in a salad but I really prefer roasted. Glad to see a chef having the same opinion. I always think of chefs as liking everything.
