I had a realization while watching. The reason why Fesh Pince is so good is that it’s a YTP that also has actual comedy. There’s brick jokes, call-backs, wordplay, running gags, but they’re all in this absurdist format. That’s what makes this one of the best YTPs ever. Lives up to the hype.
The pacing is great too. There's room to breathe between sentence mixes, there's funny transitions that still retain the sitcom-y feel of the show, etc.
I've always tried to tell people this. It's funny because even as wacky as it is, it's still a situational comedy at heart. It retains the strengths of it's source material and leverages them rather than trying to simply make something completely nonsensical.

I cannot overstate the importance of Fesh Pince in my life and the lives of my friends. My best friend, who is sadly no longer wish us, subjected us to the first two and quoted it to the point where it become a series of long running in-jokes amongst our immediate group of friends. At his funeral, I started off the eulogy with “What can you say about ? He’s .” I concluded by saying how he has gone beyond the veil of the universe, learning the answers to life’s grandest mysteries, such as “What’s a woman?” This new episode is a wonderful way of remembering a dear friend. Truly, thank you.

I love how in these YTPs that Henry Furth is treated like this celebrity (and superhero) whenever he shows up on screen when in the show he like appeared once and never again.
Fun fact that I learned while watching episodes to make this: Henry Furth actually appeared in a total of 7 episodes. His last appearance was in the 2nd season. My theory is that his life spiraled out of control after a messy divorce and Uncle Phil stopped associating with him.
As a native spanish speaker, back in the day I loved Fesh Pince 1 and 2 even though I could only understand the most basic jokes like "Oh my god, he's god", but overtime I got more and more fluent to the point that I could fully understand every line in the Fesh Pince duology, and now with Fesh Pince 3, 9 years later, it felt like finally running a game with the recommended requirements, I'm finally fluent enough in english to fully understand this third part. I've come a long way :) Needless to say, it lived up to it's predecesors

Just as the world had no hope left in it. When all happiness seemed lost, the prodigal son has returned. This was so funny as they always are. Never a drop in quality. Glad to have you back man. I suddenly want a breath mint...
I love being able to see the character change each of the core cast has gone through in the last nine years in this. After reckoning with his past in the last instalment, Will has been able to find love, but his newfound obsession with breffmints has made him unable to sustain a long term relationship, instead choosing to reflect the violence visited upon him by his Uncle. Uncle Fill has undergone the most change, after the constant pressure to kick people's butts and provide for an increasingly demanding and abusive household, he has become prone to hypersexuality and increasing sexual misconduct with multiple members of his own kin, as well as displaying uncharacteristic anger and violence, even resorting to throwing live infants through windows. Aunt Viv, after disconnecting from her commitments to Will as a mother figure in part 1, has formed split personalities to deal with the constant violence and sexual misconduct of her husband, as well as her failed aspirations as an author in part 2, hence why she is often represented by two different actresses, a masterful stroke of creative directing reminiscent of David Fincher's fight club. Carlton has lost his purpose after his quest for sandwich went unfulfilled in parts 1 and 2, and has gained the ability to morph into various forms to compensate, including a doctor, a baby, and his own wife. Geoffrey is the only character that has gone unchanged, his trademark wit and sarcasm only briefly being left aside to pursue his newfound passion for milk. Some old faces return, such as fan favourite Henry Furth, who becomes the hero everyone in the family needs. Hillary also takes on more of a role in this iteration, providing a stand in for the audience with her relatable commentary on the flabbergasting events going on around her. The nature of the Fesh Pince universe has also undergone some change in the last nine years, with time and reality shifts stabilising somewhat, but with the emergence of several new eldritch phenomena, such as the appearance of the death cryptid Stuart Little, and instances of spontaneous combustion. I for one, am anxious to see how the story evolves in the next part. Will Uncle Fill's diagnosis with D̸̝̥̻͇̤̔W̸̛̱͉͌̂̓̕E̴̢͍̱̮̤͑̂̐̀͜Ą̴̜͔͒Ṳ̵̃̃̒̚R̸̡͙̻̞̬̽̀̍͒̀̐ syndrome shed some light on his recent misdeeds? We're approaching the 12 year anniversary of the original Fesh Pince, whose legacy among YTPs speaks for itself. This video really highlights how editing software has evolved over the last 12 years. The editing pace is lightning quick.

As a native spanish speaker, back in the day I loved Fesh Pince 1 and 2 even though I could only understand the most basic jokes like "Oh my god, he's god", but overtime I got more and more fluent to the point that I could fully understand every line in the Fesh Pince duology, and now with Fesh Pince 3, 9 years later, it felt like finally running a game with the recommended requirements, I'm finally fluent enough in english to fully understand this third part. I've come a long way :)

I love being able to see the character change each of the core cast has gone through in the last nine years in this.
After reckoning with his past in the last instalment, Will has been able to find love, but his newfound obsession with breffmints has made him unable to sustain a long term relationship, instead choosing to reflect the violence visited upon him by his Uncle.
Uncle Fill has undergone the most change, after the constant pressure to kick people's butts and provide for an increasingly demanding and abusive household, he has become prone to hypersexuality and increasing sexual misconduct with multiple members of his own kin, as well as displaying uncharacteristic anger and violence, even resorting to throwing live infants through windows.
Aunt Viv, after disconnecting from her commitments to Will as a mother figure in part 1, has formed split personalities to deal with the constant violence and sexual misconduct of her husband, as well as her failed aspirations as an author in part 2, hence why she is often represented by two different actresses, a masterful stroke of creative directing reminiscent of David Fincher's fight club.
Carlton has lost his purpose after his quest for sandwich went unfulfilled in parts 1 and 2, and has gained the ability to morph into various forms to compensate, including a doctor, a baby, and his own wife.
Geoffrey is the only character that has gone unchanged, his trademark wit and sarcasm only briefly being left aside to pursue his newfound passion for milk.
Some old faces return, such as fan favourite Henry Furth, who becomes the hero everyone in the family needs. Hillary also takes on more of a role in this iteration, providing a stand in for the audience with her relatable commentary on the flabbergasting events going on around her.
The nature of the Fesh Pince universe has also undergone some change in the last nine years, with time and reality shifts stabilising somewhat, but with the emergence of several new eldritch phenomena, such as the appearance of the death cryptid Stuart Little, and instances of spontaneous combustion.
I for one, am anxious to see how the story evolves in the next part. Will Uncle Fill's diagnosis with D̸̝̥̻͇̤̔W̸̛̱͉͌̂̓̕E̴̢͍̱̮̤͑̂̐̀͜Ą̴̜͔͒Ṳ̵̃̃̒̚R̸̡͙̻̞̬̽̀̍͒̀̐ syndrome shed some light on his recent misdeeds? Can Will finally know what it means to have a loving, stable family? And, most importantly, will Carlton's quest for sandwich finally be fulfilled? All remains to be seen.
