      I definitely love how with this method, I don't have to wait for the lye solution to get cool nor go through the double boiling process. Henceforth, I'll use it when making large batches.

    Does this method help prevent the Shea butter from getting gritty?

      Any method can, provided the Shea Butter completely melts. But, if it's much of a problem, I'll advise you use the double boiling method.
