    IMPORTANT THINGS I ACCIDENTALLY LEFT OUT OF MY VOICEOVER:
    Main color is ⅔ of the soap needed to fill your mold.
    Accent color is ⅓ of the soap needed to fill your mold.
    I SHOULD have used 13 oz of accent and 26 of the main,
    but I was thinking I was using a 38 oz mold, not a 40 oz.
    Choose contrasting but complimentary colors (ie. NOT orange and green, because if they blend, you will get brown! It helps to choose a translucent and an opaque, and dark/light)
    The FIRST pour, only pour ½ of your main color.
    ALL layer pours: pour LOW & SLOW! You could also use a spatula to pour over, but remember to pour along the edges, they will be more set up and you don’t want to punch through.
    Don’t forget to spritz with RA before each pour. I did it, but I didn’t say it!
    Let me know if I left something else out!

    "Set a timer, it's too easy to forget!" I tried an acorn swirl for the first time a couple of weeks ago and I basically just sat there poking it the whole time cause I was too impatient! I'm sure the novelty will wear off and I'll have to remember to set a timer. The colors you chose turned out so pretty!

      The link to Mad Micas website is in the video description, but I didn't list the individual color links, just the names. Sorry about that. These links below take you directly to the colors I used. They are affiliate links.
      Here's the Bermuda Triangle (just in case, because I mixed two colors)- www.madmicas.com/products/bermuda-triangle-mica?variant=43257912525018&ref=408
      Here's the Blue Moon White Mica:

    I love them. I just wish I had done full ingredients bit by bit, so could I write down everything?

    • @msTsoap
      @msTsoap  11 месяцев назад

      Hi! All of the ingredients should be listed in the video description- sometimes I miss a few, so if they are not all there, let me know. There really aren't specific ingredients for this kind of soap, it's more about the technique. You can use whatever colors you like, your favorite fragrance, etc. The measurements of the soap base are basically 1/3 of the mold for the middle color and 2/3 for the top & bottom. So if your mold holds 30 oz, it's 10oz and 20oz. Hope this helps!

      @msTsoap  11 месяцев назад

      Also, please make sure to read the pinned comment I placed at the top of the comments- I accidentally left some important info out of the instructions- it's a challenge for me to talk off the cuff and even more challenging to go from a script. I'm still fairly new at making videos (less than 6 months- so I'm not a pro yet! 🤣).

    Do you need to use a vanilla stabilizer so the white dont turn brown? Im very new to watching and learning

    • @msTsoap
      @msTsoap  7 месяцев назад

      Only if you use a fragrance that will discolor. That's a lot of trial & error, but start by choosing a fragrance oil with NO vanillin. The company should be able to tell you that, if it's not specified in their details. If you see any % of vanillin, it will brown. I used a sea-type fragrance for this, so there was not any vanillin. Sometimes fragrances without vanillin will also turn, but that one is the biggest culprit. I hope that helps! ❤😊

    This is beautiful 😍. How to make melt and pour soaps last . The one i have made desolve fast in water when bathing . Is there a way to make them hard and strong ? And also if there's anything to add to increase lather in your soaps?

    • @msTsoap
      @msTsoap  5 месяцев назад

      Great questions! First, the brand and type of soap will partially determine lather and hardness. I always encourage soapers to try a variety of brands and types of melt & pour bases. I find the Crafter's Choice brand has great lather. You can cure melt & pour soaps by allowing them to air dry for a few days in a room with circulation or even in front of a fan, spritz every once in a while with rubbing alcohol. Make sure you don't allow your soap to sit in water or in the shower spray. Allow your soap to dry between uses. If it starts to get a little soft or soggy, switch it out with another soap and allow it to dry out a couple of weeks, it will be good to go. Hope that helps! 🥰

      Hi! On Etsy, search for Uncle Andy's Soap Cutter or his shop, Uncle Andy's Tools. There are 3 kinds, one with a straight blade, one with a wavy blade, and one that comes with both. I only use the straight blade. Thanks for watching! 🥰

    Whenever you use alcohol to spray your soap, do you have to include it in the ingredients list on the soap, or does it basically evaporate out?

    • @msTsoap
      @msTsoap  6 месяцев назад +1

      Great question! It evaporates out, so no need to include it. 😊

    • @msTsoap

      For this mold approximately 40-42 oz. I divide the 2 colors up with 2/3 being my main color- for me the blue, and 1/3 the accent color- for me the white. Hope that helps! 🙂🥰
