I'm alwas sorry to find out when someone doesn't like beer. I don't like all beers, but I love to drink a beer from time to time. Whatever you do, enjoy yourself, and the rest will fall into place. BTW, shelac is awesome. I've been experimenting.
Neat idea Carl. Like you, I don't like beer either. Root beer on the other hand ... I wonder if the laser could be used to burn the designs in. Might have to put it on a rotary because of clearance issues with the bubble.
Great project and a great variation on the normal bottle openers, these came out looking amazing!. Did you use laminate to burn on the ones that are not square to the tool post. I really like your tool rest with the wooden top! What would be perfect for keeping a drill straight for drilling a hole for meat tenderizer or garlic press. Can you tell us more about it.
Thank you Ken! I used playing cards to burn those lines. The two arrest is flat and I just double-sided tape wood to them you can adjust it for whatever tool you want to.
Next thing to do would be to add lights internally like your MellennialFalcon? BTW. I didn’t start drinking beer until I was 50. Hated the taste of until I found stouts and bock’s?
I understand that EZ turn support you and they are a fantastic tool, but can you teach something somewhere on old school tools. ? There is something about them that's in a sense mystical and most importantly artistic. Thanks
I tried the wood glue option on 5 bottle stopper blanks. Every one of them came loose while turning. Also any advice on how to keep the inserts from pistoning back out of the blank even with CA or Epoxy? I have been clamping them in to dry.

That would be cool to have a little LED light in them.
I am with you on the beer Carl. Tastes like the last grain in the bin that got a little wet. Yuck
Lol.... It's funny they act like they all taste different too 🤮

The two most popular drinks in the world coffee and beer and don’t like either one
🙂
You know what they say about beer, “shoulda left it in the horse”😅
Hahaha
I just purchased a shopsmith Mark v. Would that be powerful enough to do any of the projects that you have done on this website?
Yes you should have plenty of power that's a nice big lathe.
😮😮😮😮❤❤❤

Hi Jon, I will give you a call tomorrow.
@@CarlJacobson Thanks I would love that!
That's when you burn three together on the opposite side to make it look like it was on purpose. LOL
Good idea 😁

If you don't like beer just drink the Mexican Coke products or Martinelli's apple juice.😊
😁
Oh yeah you know that I am going to say it.....take me to your leader....after I get a cold on...
Lol 😂
Yea, I hate beer also. Well, any liquor/wine. It all tastes nasty.
