Out of passing interest... 'beginning cruise decent' is known as the 'top of decent' in the biz... and the 'air brakes', do act as brakes to a certain extent, but are known as 'spoilers'. They quickly eliminate much of the wing lift, putting more of the aircraft weight on the landing gear; making the wheel brakes more effective. There's more to all this... cool videos, Thanks!
