  • This video shows you an idea I came across for storing finished cross stitches. I also show you how to blanket stitch the edge of the fabric to prevent it from fraying. If you have any questions, please pop them in the comments too and I’ll do my best to answer them.

    The cross stitches shown in the video are from patterns in a book of Watercolour Winnie The Pooh cross stitches by Designer Stitches, which I believe is no longer available.

    Nice finish with the blanket stitch. Great idea for storage. You can make it into a coffee table book for everyone to see.

    This is such an incredibly helpful video, thank you so much!! I was able to blanket-stitch the edges of my piece and stop the crazy fraying thanks to your instructions. I also really love your idea of adding stiff card to the portfolio pages!! 💖💖💖💖💖
