@@dragonmanz4 Chroma is bad because other warframes do his job better than him. Making him objectively inferior to them. Bad is always subjective, when a frame has a kit that is built around doing something, and it does that kit worse than other frames, that frame becomes bad.

what makes a frame actually bad is when it can not meet the challenges the game presents. can chroma meet those challenges? yes. yes he can. therefore he is not bad. could he be better sure they all can be better.
@@tooitchy id love to know what frames do his job better. he can literally 1: hit damage cap 2 tank with 99.998 % dr without being brain dead like revenent 3 with the same mods as wisp provide better support. he is a very versitile warframe. you just need to know what you are doing.
people who think he is bad usually never even find out for them selves what his potential is because the warframe community is basically cattle. im not saying you specifically. and you basically contradicted yourself when you say he is objectivly bad and give a reason then go on to say well actually it is subjective to weather a frame is bad or not.
Yeh there's a lot of fluff in the bundle which doesn't need to be there imo. The boosters should be a bonus not a part of the bundle pricing.

Laughed out loud when I saw there were rivens in some of the packs. It'll make the 5 people who unironically use rivens happy but that's about it

The sentinel bundle that only contains the dragondance pieces is cheaper than buying them individually. But The rest of the bundles are more expensive than buying individually.
wait, there was a proper sentinel bundle? I bought the parts separately cause all the other bundles sucked and they didn't list themselves as part of a bundle.
@@theopeneyes Yeah there was a bundle that saved 50p over buying the individual parts which I think is the case for most sets like that. Theres a Cavum sentinel bundle as well for example.

I think this is an aftereffect of the situation with the Heirloom bundle last year. Someone at DE probably thought “Well, we can probably justify the price tag if we shove all this extra in-game items in there with them”. Which, yeah. Kinda makes it seem like the company who produced the best free to play game ever made is trying to get more money
yeah, it's like they saw everyone saying "it's too expensive" and thought "oh, obviously they want to spend the same amount of money and get more random stuff they don't care about"

Gonna be honest, it can only be an accident so many times before it starts looking like someone at DE is trying to boil the frog and find something people don't care too much about to start gradually taking away value from.
The Dragon Sentinel is amazing IMO. Was an instant buy for me.
Honestly the Choma skin is pretty sick too, just to bad it didn't come with a Chroma rework to really push the skin.

There are also ephemeras! For some reason, they're not in the market. You have to buy them in the actual ephemera attachment section when customizing.

I bought 10k. Will I use that many? No. Will I use even one? I tried but the finicky placement hitboxes of where I wanted to put them left one row messed up compared to the other opposite it so I scrapped it. But hey, 10k credits is nothing and I'll never run out should I ever find a reason to use them.

Worth it imo, especially Sentinel, Wyrm Prime finally looks more like a dragon now. And those wing auxillary for chroma looks amazing on his prime, way way better than the dynasty wings

So far, I've found out putting the Sentinel Dragon head, wings and tail on the Dethcube leads to a hilariously stunted lil' box dragon. Mwahaha, I'm easily amused.

The reason you're looking for is china. This is how china does bundles in their games so DE probably just took the chinese versions of the bundles and made them the global versions.

Part of me wanted to ask about the yearly tier list, and I’m glad I waited to the end of the video to find out the status of it.
Not sure if we may also see any possible “warframe refresh” videos in the future either since a fair some of thing have happened between 2022 and now, but either way, I’m looking forward to the future content coming up.
A few Warframe will be getting refreshes! I think I have about 7 on the list right now

Me saying the heirlooms were a justifiable mistake on DE's part and then these not being enough better is a literal A-->B clear progression imo.
@@Brozime The Heirloom Packs had fomo, inflated bundles, AAA games prices, and 2 different premium currencies. That’s not justifiable or a mistake. It’s all the worst practices shoved in one pack.
Pretty sure last year had the same situation with the bundles, I think they did it this way so people can buy the Kuva and rivens from each bundle, without having to buy the cosmetics again.
woa 1:40 did not know this. decided to hold off but I would of been dooped and bought a bundle.

The bundles are baffling. Some of what is in them is, as always, amazing.
I’m presuming DE has research and data on sales so perhaps a lot of players like the boosters and rivens in bundles these days? Such a small % of the player base use the forums, Reddit, RUclips etc you can get a skewed view of what is preferred in bundles and such.
Wasn't this situation the same as last year? Same for older stuff not popping up like the Kubrow skin (or armor, either way) from 2021

The chroma skin actually looked really awesome in the random colors
I was super disappointed they didn't touch Chroma in any way. His 1 is useless, his 2 has fewer viable options the higher level you go (the Toxin aura giving reload is nice at least), his 4 is so bad (only having the credit doubling use in Profit taker). They could have changed his 1 and/or 4 to just also be pseudo exalts and they would have been infinitely better, and at least do something other than change the element you are (which you rarely do anyways) or tickle enemies
I actually like his 1 if you’re running a melee build, particularly with synergies from Archon Intensify and Emerald Shards; the toxin scream procs toxin which heals you and add corrosive procs which can aid in full armor strip with two emerald shards.
Nevertheless Chroma is so outdated yes. Imagine if Chroma’s 1 acted more like Qorvex’s 4 - an actual powerful beam.
fyi the (really quite cool) wings attachment for the chroma skin is in the Auxiliary slot. You can have 'em on all the time.
the fact u preview colors on the chroma skin and how crisp and nice it look it was auto buy for me. and the sentinel skin.
I was pretty disappointed as i assumed we'd get at least some free cosmetics apart from the Glyph...
And the bloated bundles are very concerning if i'm being honest, it steers in the wrong direction.
At least we can buy them seperately.
What upsets me a ton as well is, with the weapon skins, they never point out if they actually change the SFX or VFX of the weapon apart from a slight retexture.
For example, i was told the Zarr skin had custom firework effects, and it really does!
Then i got excited and wanted to find out if the new Ogris skin had custom effects too.
Unfortunately, it didn't.
Why do we not get any notes for weapon skins?
This has been a problem forever now, we don't get a lot "Deluxe" weapon skins, and if we do, they are bundled with a Deluxe Warframe skin.
Why can't we get some premium skins to purchase like the mentioned Unteal Tournament skin bundle, which was free, but i'd definitely pay to get my hands on those.
It is such a missed opportunity in my opinion and it's below industry standard, literally every other game in this genre does it miles better than Warframe.
I'm so mad about it because i'm a huge weapon guy, i only got like 3 Warframe skins so far, but i'd get so many weapon skins if there were more options.

I don't understand how any skin is expected to compete with UT rocket launcher, the shock rifle or the flak cannon, im pretty sure the shock rifle skin is the reason why the Stahlta is so highly regarded on overframe despite being objectively worse then the Aeolak, wouldnt really use overframe as a guide for weapon viability, more of a guide for which weapons are (in some cases arbitrarily) most popular
also on the topic of incarnons and skins, I think one of the gorgon variant's does not ignore the desert camo skin for some reason, I assumed its because its based on the default gorgon but the burston solstice and the braton skins (that are based on the updated model) don't, would like an option to disable the actual replacement of the skin or the option to customize the incarnon skin separately

Dude the fact half of the items in the bundles are just materials and boosters to inflate the price actually annoys me.
But, the bundles are entirely optional, you can buy those cosmetics separately and for less platinum than the bundles would cost, these aren't the same as the Heirloom bundles were you had to buy the bundle just to get the cosmetic you wanted

Why on earth do they sell the sentinel pieces seperately? The main body is TEN platinum less than the whole thing..... If you accidentally buy that instead of the whole skin package, ouch.

I left a comment elsewhere about how much I JUST LOOOOVE BLOAT, and I got jumped by people saying don't buy it and resell the rivens and DE just spoils us. Like, stfu I'm pointing out structural issues with microtransactions.
Not gonna lie the materials on a Chroma skin are looking pretty great.
I really like the Dragon ephemera, but it has its issues. Primarily, it can just look like a crappy PNG at times AND you can’t change the big dragons colour when using it on your Operator.
While I’m glad the big dragon only appears when you’re idle so it doesn’t block the screen, I also really wish you could turn it off all together - and on the other end turn off the mini ones. For my Drifter, the big dragon looks like a pet orowyrm but the mini ones are just so out of place, and it’s the opposite for the Operator as I can’t change the colour for the big dragon.
i wish u could turn off the coiling poop cord that wraps around u in Lohks Embrace. i have it on my Kull to give him a godlike regal appearance without his knives but every time that stupid ass poop coil wraps around it just fucks the ephemera.
Got the weapon skins and ephemera and thought everything else looked crap or worthless to me.
All i wanted was the Chroma and sentinel skins. The rest is hust bloat and id unfortunate to see.

There really is a bit too much fluff in the bundles. I have no need for the credits, rivens, or kuva since I can just farm those. I added the total price for all the cosmetics I want, and I could but everything for the same price as the regular Chroma bundle.

Yeah, the only problem with this mindset in Warframe is that you never even have to spend a dime of your real world money for platinum. Literally playing the game and trading easy things like prime junk and relics will get you anything you want from the market.
I almost bought the 3 bundle. I was hyped and I just wanted to buy it. Then I saw that they are filled with garbage. I made some maths, the 3 bundle cost, 1005 plat. If you only buy the cosmetics, it goes down to 700 plat.
I love the new skin cuz it lets me have 6 wings

DE probably learned that people would still buy packs if they were loaded with garbage to artificially inflate the value after the heirloom packs lmao, we're just lucky we can actually avoid getting scammed by buying them individually.

Theres two sides to this coin. One side is these bundles are mostly overpriced and you get what you pay for . . . it is standard DE fare there. The other side is that these items can be bought individually, which might or might not be cheaper in price. Either way you either get the skins you want or dont . . . at least the INDIVIDUAL skins are an option. In some cases bundle stuff is NOT a la carte and this is marginally better. I hate that for some things I MUST drop 100s of plat on a bundle that has 1 item I want.
The real problem here is the anchor effect. The high priced bundles justifies the individual purchases instead of just lumping them all together which would make everyone happy and not just the habitual or higher spenders. Generally F2P games survive on whales, whales buy it anyway. Casuals or fans MIGHT choose to buy if the bundle makes sense. Low invested persons will just scoff and ignore them. The real "news flash" here is just the standard marketing and game design we've seen for over a decade.

I bought everything for 100 Plat less, avoiding the boosters. But like... For the Weapon packs... it´s weird. Like it´s really weird packaging. I guess that´s just China being china or something?

DE has been getting more and more deceptive with their monetization and marketing. Theres these weird packs which are clearly meant to get people to spend more money on stuff they don't want/need, the Gauss accessories pack advertising "bonus items exclusive to the accessories pack" that arent exclusive in any way since they will be in the resurgence store when he returns just like all the other items, the heirloom skin fiasco, etc.
Its very clear whoever has the power to do so is trying to get DE to squeeze more money out of their players. The only thing is that Warframe has had extremely fair monetization in the past, so they cant just turn the game into a gotcha over night or the game would die instantly, so they are testing the waters and doing it slowly over time.
tencent’s investors is fucking DE. investors always ruin shit, because instead of making a good product, they make a product to make money.
Tencent are pulling the strings.
