On the external power can I run 8 to 24vac transformer on 24vac on the video doorbell it doesn't state exactly what power consumption it needs only 8 to 24 vac required.. I have it on a 12vac at the minute but batterie symbol always around 3%to 18%

To be honest I've been using the kangaroo door cam with the ringtone inside the house and a couple extra cameras and it's worked just fine for me and it's basically the cheapest one on the market I've never had an issue in over a year

I wish to use external power. The instructions say 90-250V AC which seems a bit high. Some other websites say 18V/500mA. Which one? Also, can I keep the batteries in the unit while using external power or is it just one of the other. I ask because it may be useful if there is a power cut and batteries are a backup?
u need a transformer from 90 - 250V to max 18V/500ma but u have to check with the manual on your device first

Hello Oliver, good day. I have this doorbell, but do not know where to find the settings on what port its is on. I have its IP address but not sure otherwise how to proceed. I want to view from home not on the WAN in the office but it requires a port forward. Any insight? thanks!
Easiest way just watch entire video only applies If your doorbell is same as video presented!

Hey we have the same one that is shown im the video, we have brought brand new brand new batteries they work in other items, the doorbell works fine when it is plugged into its charger but as soon as its unplugged from its charger it wont turn on. Is it fault woth the doorbell or something we are doing?

Worst mistake I made I bought this piece of crap it doesn't work all it kept saying was can't find your Wi-Fi

Hi, I’ve changed internet provider so I’ve got different wifi and pw but i can’t use the app anymore which is normal. I can’t find how to reset the doorbell to re go through the install process, does anybody know how do it? Thanks
Hi, I just set mine up. You can press the button on the back that says “Reset”. Hold it for 8 seconds. You can also use the APP if you can find it. In the APP, just add it as a new device. Hope this helps

U can not afraid, only designed to be used on a phone app!
My doorbell camera takes forever to charge I charge my doorbell camera for two days now and its still not fully charge

The batteries are not making contact with bell on the upper side. Insert aluminum foil folded pieces between the batteries heads and the bell terminal
why is a burgler opening the box??
My doorbell doesn't flash red lights even tho I hold it for 20 seconds, it only flashes blue lights... I tried to reset but it doesn't work

Brand new out the box, not outside, distorted sound all the time crackling.

What an absolute heap of rubbish, the words didn't stay on long enough to read and didn't really tell you anything at all that was in the least bit useful.
