It’s best if animation projects are indie created rather than by a big studio because it was just released that some popular shows got cancelled with no logical reason whatsoever 😢
Yeah, and you basically have more freedom to steer your show the way you want it to go, without having to make any changes for corporates. There's just more freedom in indie

Glad that you mentioned Murder Drones. It's truly an amazing series! Edit: I completely forgot about the Webtoon that's turning into a movie! (I unfortunately forgot it's name-)

I just found out today that Inside Job got canceled. So I’m 100% going to support indie animators if these damn cooperations keep canceling original shows
A more accurate description for Murder Drones is that Humans on an Exoplanet ,alongside the Worker Drones, ended up destroying the planets core killing off all biotic life on the planet. The Worker Drones survived and picked up where they left off. However, the company that made the Worker Drones didn’t want them to just be let off so they sent the “Murder Drones” (otherwise known as Disassembly Drones) to kill all the Worker Drones on the Exoplanet. The Workers built 3 heavily fortified doors to keep the Murder Drones out and now Uzi, the “main character” is tired of it and wants to fight back. I’ve watch the series and I would heavily recommend checking it out, it’s very well made.
Ahh ty for linking all of them! I can't wait for this new Renaissance of indie animation here on RUclips! Imma watch all these shows when they come out :D
I think I have now found my calling. I was already planning to work in animation, doing a course on 3d animation, but I think I want to work in the indie studios
As a fan of animation, it makes me proud that people are doing their projects without the interference of corporations, which has sadly turned away from putting out adult themed animated, but cartoons in general. These creators should get together along with other creators and writers that have been fired and form their own company that is solely about cartoons and animation. Where the creators have complete control of everything. It could become Cartoon Network like in the old days, but better. This needs to happen.
It should be noted here that Glitch Productions, responsible for Murder Drones and now Digital Circus, is hosting the first Glitch Expo this week to showcase indie animation artists. Lackadaisy, Helluva Boss, and all of Glitch's stuff (and more!) will be featured
The indie show I wish we heard more about is mine ^^' Even you get to make your own indie show. When will I get my chance ? It's called "Welcome to Reunisland". Long story short, it's a guy named Aubrin and his brother Zardix who hates Aubrin and tries to kill him but always fails in a cartoony way. The two arrive on a small island named Reunisland, which has a full underground of ruins called the Delta Ruins (referencing the name Deltarune) that hold a mysterious power. Their goal, alongside the people who already live there, is to protect this power against the main bad guy, Dark Script, who sends a new enemy to try and defeat them. Dark Script is a pretty arrogant villain. He's so convinced that he will win that he tells everything about the enemy he sends to the characters, thinking that it doesn't matter since he's already won. Alongside that, we'll also see the characters living their lives or facing other villains. Zardix trying to kill Aubrin or sometimes to just defeat him at something for example. There will be some focus on other characters too, but I'm not saying too much outside of Aubrin and Zardix. I want to keep some kind of element of surprise if this show ever comes out. Also it's its own world with its own society and rules. Except it's not an Isekai. Aubrin and Zardix are from this world. They just moved from where they were before to Reunisland. This show will have lots of deep characters with great chimestry and character development in a fun world but also just as deep as the characters. Lots of jokes, references and 4th wall breaking, and a sense of mystery too. But nobody cares about me and my ideas anyway, so this show ain't seeing the light of day anytime soon.

Another one that’s pilot is currently in development is called blood and skinny hedgehog and from what I’ve seen it looks realy good
Cant wait for godspeed made by Olan rogers (Creator of final space) From the few character designs They've showed and the fact that Final space is literally my Favourite show of all time, Thats the indie project im most exited about
I really like your videos although there was a topic I believe you should discuss with everyone in here about the leaks for hazbin hotel and Helluva boss think it needs to be said because it could damage both series, going foward!
I feel like not discussing the leaks is the best way to help the series, I still haven't seen them and do my best not to.
@@CartoonUniverse Oh OK! Well i guess that makes sense, any who i also say you forgot to mention Ollie And Scoops, an indie series that has a nice feel to it and cool characters!
@@mikechicago6200 I'll take a look at it.
