مرحبا ، دروسك ممتازة . أنا أدرس صديق إمريكي للهجة المصرية عشانها معروفة بكل الدول العربية و أرسلت له فديوهاتاك عشان يتعلم اللهجة المصرية مع مساعدتي .
لكن عنده صعوبة يفرق بين المذكر و المؤنث في صيغة السؤال . مثل " إسمك إيه " أو " بلدك إيه " لما يكون السؤال للرجل و المرأة ٠ يقولي “ they sound the same to me “ . هل وجدت نفس المشكلة مع طلابك الأجانب ؟
تفرج على الفيديو أكثر من مرة و حاولت أوضح له الفرق بس لسه فيه صعوبة في التفريق بينهم .
إيش رأيك إني أخلط اللهجة المصرية مع الفصحى ؟ مثلا أعلمه بصيغة المذكر بالمصري " بلدك إيه ؟ " و بصيغة المؤنث بالفصحى . " ما بلدكِ ؟ " .
So nice teacher! Thanks u a lot ❤️🌹❤️
Yes,thanks for my dearest ancient Pharaoh gift,God from Orion Belt.Happy new year 2021 at all.
@@hellophoenix رائع و أشكرك على التشجيع واسف على تأخير الرد.. فعلا بقابل المشكلة دي مع بعض الطلاب ومافيش مانع ابدا نخلط المصري بالفصحى في البدايه فقط .. ولما الطالب مستواه يتقدم ويفرق بين المذكر والمؤنث في النطق نصحح له.. مجهود عظيم منك و يشكر واهلا بيك في القناة اي وقت 😊

So why you watching Arabic courses if you're Egyptian, instead of learning English properly???😅😅😅
Egyptians can't speak proper English!😮
Has some one said this? - I need help is OK in Arabic 09 35 but the transliteration is aaix shteri - I want to buy....

I lisen from Hungary and I have egyptian Husband.
He and his family very happy, that after 6 years I start to learn 🙏👌👌elf shokran!! 🎉
Same here, im here for 1,5 years now and i live with the family, but i really have to memorize things because im talking english with my husband, but the others..half english, half arabic :D This language is so beautiful, but so hard to learn for me.
Thank you for this!!!! Studying Egyptian Arabic now this was so helpful.
Hey Jo, I've literally just started learning myself so I can hopefully go and speak to the half of my family who are Egyptian! It looks like English is your first language.. Do you use Clubhouse at all? Just a thought, but I need someone to try and hold some conversations in arabic with as I think i'm going to snuggle sitting chatting to myself haha! Anyway, if you'd find benefit in hopping on a short clubhouse call maybe even once a week or something just to ask each other questions and try get some (albeit terrible) conversations played out I'd be keen! Let me know!
OMG Jo Franco! I subscribe to your channel and longtime fan of Damon and Jo. Of course you're gonna be learning Arabic too!
No unfortunately I don't use Clubhouse for the time being, but I am considering it - my first language is Arabic by the way 😀
Hi Jo, came here after watching your video. Honestly, im picking up so much from here after hearing it soooo many times from you like 'del wa'ti' 😂
I've watched your video about learning Arabic a few days ago and now that explains why RUclips suggested me this video even though I'm Egyptian 😂 loved your vibe and enthusiasm tho

Just a small correction here, the Egyptian dialect is widely understood not used! Meaning almost everybody in the Middle East will understand Egyptian dialect but when they respond back to you that where you will be jammed lol
Yes this is mostly true, but many Arabs also try a lot to speak in Egyptian and you can find, especially in young generations, many Arabs with good knowledge
I want you to know English is not my mother tongue, and you speak so clearly I understand you well, God bless you
this is great
@@Linguamid Do you have a friend in Egypt who teaches Arabic frontally, someone you recommend, and thank you in advance

You are the best Egyptian language explainer
Your content is very good and is presented well, but from one language teacher to another, the speed at which you speak is not pedagogically sound for your intended audience, namely students new to Egyptian Arabic. There is a difference between teaching and presenting. You are presenting, not teaching. Slow down. What's the rush? Repeat yourself slowly as you teach the new language. Teaching a foreign language is much more than flying through a lesson warp speed in hopes of covering a myriad of words and phrases. Perhaps you should consider a video entitled 10 Important Phrases Every Egyptian Beginner Should Know (speaking slowly and repeating words and phrases) and focus your 25:50 on that. Makes the language much more engaging and much more accessible to the learner.
Thanks a lot John for this wonderful guidance and feedback - I will make sure to slow down
@@Linguamid nah in my opinion the way you taught in this video was perfect. Thank you 👍🏼

اهلاً! امي من مصر, و انا تخصصت فاللغة العربية فالجامعة.
That was 3+ years ago though and I have lost SO much of it, not to mention that MSA and Egyptian Arabic are totally different… your video is so educational and helps me remember a lot of phrases that I used to know that have gotten jumbled with the MSA I learned at college. I want to work on learning Egyptian Arabic now so it’s actually useful with my family :)
