Hey Jo, I've literally just started learning myself so I can hopefully go and speak to the half of my family who are Egyptian! It looks like English is your first language.. Do you use Clubhouse at all? Just a thought, but I need someone to try and hold some conversations in arabic with as I think i'm going to snuggle sitting chatting to myself haha! Anyway, if you'd find benefit in hopping on a short clubhouse call maybe even once a week or something just to ask each other questions and try get some (albeit terrible) conversations played out I'd be keen! Yes this is mostly true, but many Arabs also try a lot to speak in Egyptian and you can find, especially in young generations, many Arabs with good knowledge

Just a small correction here, the Egyptian dialect is widely understood not used! Meaning almost everybody in the Middle East will understand Egyptian dialect but when they respond back to you that where you will be jammed lol
Yes this is mostly true, but many Arabs also try a lot to speak in Egyptian and you can find, especially in young generations, many Arabs with good knowledge
Dear Hamid. I have lived in Egypt almost 6 years and these words are really needed. I like Egypt and Arabic language. Now im in Slovakia for two years and I am glad to be able to repeat Arabic words. Well thank you. You're great.
