In my opinion, Johnny and Gyro were BOTH pieces of shit, and I feel like that was the point... they're not perfect people, and they both did shitty things in their past (and present) but to me it made them more interesting, valid take tho !! I can see how people can dislike Gyro 😭

I can't agree with your part 7 take, especially with funny Valentine's. You have to remember he's the president of the United States of America. Your gyro take is diabolical. Gyro doing some bad shit is whatever, but gyro dying wasn't about johnny's character it was about gyros. His whole reason he was in the steel ball run race was to help someone, and using love train to Dave himself entirely goes against his morals. Plus after mandom, there's a whole other lair of him being apart of "the true man's world." I think gyro is the best written jobro(haven't read part 8 yet tho)

Part 7 was pretty tight but Part 8 is up there for me, with Stone Ocean coming in at a close second.
Jojolion puts the bizzare in Jojo's Bizarre Adventure for me.
Also Jolyne is just tough as nails in most fights. Bet she got that from her old man.
I feel like Persona characters could get along with Jojo's characters as friends, because I'm not a fan of heated rivalry between both sides and most jojo's characters won't randomly kill someone for being different.

For real, about loveable Iggy. I absolutely love the concept of animals having STANDS. I wish they used it more. Iggy and Animal Shop, it’d be so cool to see another cute pet in the parts with a sick STAND, like a main JoJo’s pet cat with a support STAND. I know Iggy and Animal Shop were unqiue since they were like intelligent or whatever but I wish they could add another animal stand user
Depends on your taste I guess. I for my part loathe talking animals amongst human characters - in any franchise tho, it isn't a Jojo exclusive dislike.

I want to share my opinion about sbr (so be aware of spoilers) (and sorry about any errors in my statement)
I agree about the fact that Valentine is not fully in the charge, for the whole part. To be honest, this make me think that he was scared to fight with others. This thought get a litte blured out when he was fighting with Johnny and Gyro. I think if the fact that he was scared to fight with them would be canon. This would be orginal at some point, and funny lmao. Gyro death was meaningless in my opinion. I have to say, that after just reading this part, I was hudge Gyjo shiper(still ships them) and in my opinion the way that Gyro treats Johnny shows their dynamic even more. The fact that he was hitting him just came out of my head, but this could mean, also that this got dim, by other actions that they did.
I'm not a big fan of part 7. So this may be why I don't have any problems with your opinion. But, after all, I think part 7 is a good part. I'm just annoyed that after 4 years we still didn't get part 7 animated :,((

I really agree with you about the ship between Johnny and gyro, this something a wanted to get me chest out about My experinece with this ship when i first saw it, it's not the age gap that bothers me (well kinda a bit) it's the way most of the fans potray it and i don't see no one talking about it like how they potray gyro as this brave,flirty dom men while johnny is potrayed as this subby bottom boy that cries a Lot and needs gyro to save him, and the worst part is that Johnny is paraplegic for me personaly i find it degrading for people who suffer from paraplegia, to end this i find it annoying when most of the fans ship them and make them canon when in the manga they are Friends and i never saw them have romantical feelings towards eachother like... Why?? It's jotakak all over again, i swaer i always see every fandom shipping two characters that are friends specialy when it's two guys and it's tiring or maybe i'm being exagerating or being dramatic, im sorry if that's the case. Anyways i loved the video, your My favorita youtuber and Will love to see more of this great channel and please don't stress yourself making videos take your time as you like, i whish you a happy day. :)

I could agree more, imma be honest with you i don't take the ship sereously and kinda ship it as a joke for laughs and giggles but i sometimes DESPISE this ship because of the gyjo shippers bcs they take it sereously about it, they are more worst than jotakak shippers like... Jikes. 😭
1:20 YEAH stands like that are so rare but awesome. Most that come to mind besides Anubis, Pistols is like Echos 3, White Snake and C Moon, and WOU. They always stand out and are so unique when they have minds of their own in some respects.

I 100% agree with the Giorno thing, I HATE when people talk about the fact that "boo hoo Giorno is emotionless, shows zero emotion" which is not true at all. He cares deeply about his friends, and the fact that he can seem like that is BECAUSE HE WAS ABUSED AS A KID for even watching people iirc. That's just stupid, I really like Giorno and he is one of my favorite Joestars too. I don't have a Joestar that I dislike... well, maybe Joseph bcs in my case I feel like he is too overrated, sometimes (especially the younger version of him) he was very annoying to me and yeah let's ignore the fact that he was cheating on his wife with a young woman... like ok. Also about Dio and Giorno: i don't think it counts as real canon interaction but there are those fighting games with Jojo like All Stars etc. and you can pair up Dio and Giorno together. Dio is like blah blah stay out of my way but when Giorno was beating up the enemy with him and using his stand cry he SMILES!!!! and says "not bad, kid." like deep down i want to believe that Dio would even like to be a good dad to him somehow especially considering his experiences with this own father.

The only reason i liked Steel ball run, was because of Diego! (BY THE WAY I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS, AND I HAVE WATCHED ALL OF THEM, BUT I DONT USUALLY COMMENT!)
As a person that LOVES dinosaurs a Lot, i like Diego as a character Even his past make me feel symphaty for him especial when Johnny gets angry at him (adk why jaja) his dino design is so cool and i can wait for him to be intimidating in that form in the anime if it gets an adaptacion. :)

People saying part 7 was the bible 2 ruined the experience for me, because when I read it I was expecting too have an out of body experience by the people's descriptions. All I got was disappointment and a want for more/better content. (Part 7 still amazing tho 👍)
When I watched part three for the first time I didn't really pay him any mind, but Kakyoin is 100% my favorite JoJo character :3 I feel like most of the fandom kinda mischaracterizes him.
Whilst I didn't read these mangas myself (they're not even officially translated anymore anyway), my closest friend, who lives in Japan and speaks fluent Japanese, had very strong negative opinions both about Steel Ball Run and the universe reset in general, and absolutely hated it. She then dropped Jojo completely halfway through Jojolion and doesn't intend to ever finosh it or even touch Jojoland, apparently these are really really awful and also take a nose dive art style wise.
Safe to say neither of us will keep up with the anime, should Netflix, Kaze or whoever owns the production rights right now decide to continue it on.
I am quite happy to see that my bud wasn't the only one who really didn't like Steel Ball Run tho, because she's been in my ears with her wrath for years now.
Araki's really gotta get a grip, he's been riding his franchise into the ground for years now (I mean, look up the available merch and the sales and print numbers, they're abysmal).
Stone Ocean already was a complete mess, and it never got better after that.
I LOVED sbr and its definitely one of my favorite parts, but yeah... it's definitely overhyped by the fandom ... (part 4 best part)
