I love how absolutely respectful and compassionate this approach and Derek is to all parts of the client.

The annotation helps so much. Also the pace, seemingly slow and painstaking, is how my sessions often go. Really appreciate the validation this offers that clients need a long time to get clear about what parts are saying.

BRILLIANT. So helpful to have on-screen commentary drawing attention to the meta view of what is happening without braking the flow of the session. I'll be searching for more sessions with a similar presentation format.

I'm so excited about this form of therapy. By finding compassion for our parts it tricks us into loving ourselves - our natural state!

I feel like Dick Schwartz would be so proud of you Derek, you emulate him and his work so well, and the student has become the teacher. Very impressive. Thank you for being brave and sharing your work to give us courage to continue to become familiar with this exceptional model.

Derek thank you for all the energy you put into these videos. I appreciate it. Loving the annotation it seems like they were more frequent in this video and I can imagine it takes a lot to put these together 🙏🙏🙏

Why do these sessions make me so emotional? Maybe it is bringing out some internal and relatable parts of me. It is powerful and fascinating at the same time. But not sure how you would start a session out, with IFS. I would love to see the first session, to get more information. Thank you Derek and Louise for sharing this session with us.

Derek, thank you so much, this video is amazing. I'm not a therapist but your videos have helped me (and my strongly cognitive parts) tremendously!

This is so helpful for me to see because as someone that has received IFS therapy, I’m learning little details about how I can guide myself.
