Review: King Hilton Executive Premium Ocean Front at Hilton Pattaya

- In this episode, we're visiting Pattaya in Thailand and showing you King Hilton Executive Premium Ocean Front at Hilton Pattaya. It's likely one of the best, if not the best place to stay in downtown Pattaya. While all rooms in this hotel have balcony with sea view, the Executive Premium Ocean Front rooms have full ocean front views from high floors, offering scenic views from big balconies. You can chlll on their daybeds or take a dip in the big bathtub on the balcony. On the rooftop, there's Horizon bar/lounge, which is great for evening entertainment with friends, for enjoying good music, tasty food and drinks in the open air and sea breeze.
Should you need to do some shopping, on the lower floors of the building there is Centra Festival Pattaya shopping mall as well, which likely has everything you might need.

It would have been nice to see the view during the day.
Unfortunately indeed we recorded this video late in the evening. We took some pictures of daytime, haven't managed to post those yet, but in this particular room type, you have pretty nice panoramic ocean views and if looking down from the balcony, also panoramic view of Pattaya beach. We also liked that the bed is positioned nicely in this room so that when in the bed, you have sea view as well.

For me, it's an overpriced room. The Hilton Hotel in Pattaya is very overpriced in my opinion. Last time I checked this room cost around €225 (8300 THB). That's a lot in Covid19 times. For example, a normal executive suite at Le Meridien costs 3600 THB that is less then half of this room. The bathtub outside looks amazing though 👍 The (normal) deluxe rooms also go for like €130 (5000 THB) while they are not special at all. While the Hilton Hotel in Bangkok costs just 1400 THB now, whats about 30% of the price.
I think pre-COVID19 times this hotel was sometimes more expensive than Waldorf in Bangkok even. Luckily I paid much less. 2550THB+taxes for the deluxe room and got upgraded as a diamond member to this particular room. If you'd do 15 single night stays in Bangkok for 1400THB you could become Diamond as well, to get upgrades like this in the future, depending on the availability. I have to say however, that Bangkok Hiltons seem to be quite "elite" heavy even these days and getting a suite upgrade there as diamond member is much more a challenge

Beach Road too noisy
I can imagine that it is more noisy now than last year, when there is more people and traffic.
terrible review. yes, it has a bed. how about the swimming pool? fitness center?
Hi, Kurt! We hear you and we wish we could have reviewed that part of the hotel as well. Unfortunately due to local COVID19 restrictions in Chonburi province during our stay, both swimming pool as well as fitness centre were closed off and we were unable to access those. At the current moment, the rules have changed and they are accessible again. We could just see a bit of the swimming pool behind the windows at the lobby area - it is not very big and at high occupancy it will likely be quite crowded. The strong selling point of this hotel is that each room has sea view balconies - ours was very big on ocean front side, but even in standard rooms you have a balcony, albeit smaller one. There are some other hotels in the neighbourhood where most of the rooms don't have nice views. And another strong selling point of this hotel s the rooftop bar.
