I absolutely love this Tamiya buggy. It is one of my favourite releases in a very long time. Reminds me of the old school buggies that got me into the hobby all those years ago!
Hi there Rex, what a great looking WildOne indeed, I also like the stock version too. It’s on my list, maybe one day. (That’s if I can get a pink ticket from the chancellor..ha hum, I mean wife! 🤣😂🤣) take care and best wishes to you and the family 😉😊
There's a little recessed area adjacent to the battery. That's so you can run your wiring and connector plugs all inside the battery compartment. Looks super cool that way, and dare I say, more scale.
good news my friend.. enjoying the video that is presented will certainly not be in vain.. because I learned a lesson from him.. glad to be able to share😃😉
I had the original wildone and thought it was an amazing kit, my friend had the fast attack vehicle which was basically the same car with different wheels and paint and a 50cal machine gun on it lol. The wheels you have on look like the FAV ones. I used to run it on a peak racing raven motor (think it was a 17x2) and was really fast when I could keep it in a straight line 🤣😁.
LOL, I seem to have found an issue, the axles catch somewhere when the rear suspension is either fully compressed or fully extended, I'll have to dig into that soon
@@rexrcs I can only think it might be the rubber axle boots, I remember I used small zip ties to hold them in place. But might be worth a further look just incase👍
It looks so nice! Those tires are not the best off road i learned this when I tried them on my hornet! The suspension is stiff on this one and the front shocks way over dampened and they use 10WT oil in them so only thing you can do is mod the shock pistons. but like you said it jumps very nice!

Nice run 👍, they definitely nailed it with that colour scheme, almost finished mine, wild one purists wont be happy 😆
can't wait to see it! thank you
Deadly! I agree, the suspension could be dampened a little more. Do you glue your tires?
Thank you!, these tires are beadlocked, but yes I usually glue my tires, nice to see you
left a thumbs up but exited when I saw the NiMH PACK😂

I dont want to lose the nice looking shocks from the kit but I may look into future mods. Hi Steve!
Great looking and runs nice, but i still prefer the FAV´s over Wild One.
Fair enough, thanks Magttias Id love an FAV one day
And you CAN'T get rid of the Buggy Champ, because it has heritage. Not just Tamiya heritage, but Malcom Smith/Bel-Ray Bullet/Baja 1000 heritage.
