I do exactly the same thing! When I go to bed at night I watch one of her videos and I am instantly calm enough to board the train that goes into sleepy town .... 🚂 I finally got the funds to order a couple of prints from her Etsy and when they came I felt like I was touching the Hope diamond 💎 ... I have a picture print at my bed,and one in my living room , when I see them I escape the world I live in for a moment and visit Fairy Forest..

I taught school for 40 years and 35 of them were in the same school. I had different rooms during that time and I loved them all...but my last 3rd grade room was home for 20 years. When I retired (and I knew I was ready and that it was time) it took two weeks into the summer to sort, clean, gift, and then load so many personal things out. Those weeks were quiet..no children or fellow teachers...and I soaked up every single memory and minute. I often think of that last moment (with the room number and my name plaque in my pocket) when I looked back into "my" classroom that was now so different. My tears were gone by then and I felt such peace...the ME that had spent so much time there was going to change. But the love, laughter, and children's voices live on! Even though your cottage will physically change, it stays the same in your heart and memories! And your new home is absolutely gorgeous!!
Thank you for your service being a teacher for so long! I have much respect for you! My mother was a kindergarten -1st grade teacher for over 35 years as well. She taught at the grade school where my siblings & I & then my three boys all went. There is SO much nostalgia within the walls of that school. In fact, a seasonal mural I helped paint when I was in 6th grade is still on the wall in the lower grades hallway. Sadly, the school closed this last year. It sits there vacant but every time I drive by it I reminisce about the memories made in that school, so I completely understand what you're saying! I am praying that since it's on the historic registry that they won't tear it down. It would be absolutely heartbreaking to my family if they did. The school was so special to my mom that we buried her last year in the graveyard right next door to it. She is underneath a couple of huge large trees that meant so much to her❤️. xo
@@LindaKayHolevas I'm sorry for the loss of your mom. But, how wonderful laughter of children can be heard at her resting place! I can think of nothing better!!! I can't express how much i love this channel. it's so pure compared to everything else that's going on in the world. sometimes we need to remember the purer thing's in life.
This really hit home for me. At 63 I wonder if I do make my world smaller by keeping within my comfort zone, cherishing my alone time, as I too am an introvert. But I feel at this juncture in my life, i do need to insulate myself to some degree from the bombardment of sadness and violence in the outside world, sometimes my heart just can't take it. I do surround myself with loving family and friends, but stepping out too far into the world and facing fears is a way for growth, I understand that. I've learned to give myself Grace, at least I'm trying too. Thank you for your lovely calming videos Paola, you are a blessing.
I think Joseph as we grow older the growth becomes different from what young people like Paola.need to do. We do keep growing it's just....differently. I am 12 years your senior and that has been my experience. Protecting yourself from the many stressors that the world is now I think is critically important. Any age of course needs that of course. There's just something different we have to offer as elders which I know you are not yet in that category but will be one day. That doesn't mean we don't engage but we engage somewhat more carefully and thoughtfully knowing we have a limited amount of time. Blessings on your journey.
Our attachment to land is real, and often even more intense than our attachment to people. We grow roots in what’s around us and it grows roots in us. It can feel like a kind of violence to move from our home. That’s what makes being a refugee so hard. They never forget their land. I live among many, and they break my heart when they speak of the land they remember. Anyway, that’s a totally different circumstance, but just to illustrate that place is real in our hearts, and has a face, a personality, a heartbeat, memories of us, our DNA.
A beautiful idea and sentiment beautifully written. Thank you. And my sympathies to all your refugees. Just reading your words broke my heart a little bit.
Wow, your comment makes me think of when Jerusalem fell to the Babylonians, and people were taken to live by the rivers there. They cried and sang songs to God there about their sorrows. They would hang their harps on the branches of the willow trees.
Your cottage was certainly a beautiful place but your new home is also surrounded by beauty, just different! Both are lovely! The flowers are just gorgeous growing wild! I love that! 🙏🏻❤️😘
Never clicked so fast😂 i have to be honest, i miss the old cottage because it holds many memories. But i know the new cottage will create more memorable moments💚 missing Mr. Darcy. I know he's happily hopping in heaven now🥰
I miss the old cottage too! I miss the vistas and the light. I've lived in forests, and currently in a home down in a "holler" as they call it in the south. I like the feeling of shelter and privacy, but sometime in whatever years I have left I want to live higher up, somewhere with a beautiful view of rolling fields and flowers and faraway mountains, or the sea. I did so enjoy that aspect of the older videos, I must admit!
I couldn't choose between a holler or a mountain either. I live on a mountain now though. My country house sits on a mountain, on a hill on cleared pastures..so it looks and feels like its sitting on top of the world😂 its paradise but I feel exposed. The wind is like no other place. We get a lot of fog too..😍
Paola, what a treasure you are. I spend quite a bit of time simply reading the comments on your videos. You have a special way of drawing people out. Some would call it magical.
What a nice little reminder to go out, make decisions and put yourself on to the next level. You are making a good example. A step into the unknown can be scary but is almost never a mistake.
YOU are the magic that makes a house, or cottage, a home. Viewing the few glimpses we've gotten of your new place has me believing your magical touch has already transformed the space to make it your very own. The old place was cute and cozy-looking while you were there but now that you're not it doesn't look that good. This new life really suits you. Embrace it!
@Lucy Corey These replies truly help me, too. Although I officially moved a couple of years ago, I’ve gone back and taken earth from that place for my plant (also from there) now. Seeing the way you put it, Lucy, I will reorient myself, from this time forth, not to look back w/a sad heart at a place & time in my life that was, but rather that I am the center, co-creating with my past a new benevolent life, wherever I go. Ty all.
@@junemacauley6813, 5 years ago I had an emergency move back to my home state to give 24 hr care to my daughter, and help out with 3 ASD kids, as well as caring for my disabled husband. We had to leave everything, and begin from scratch in a very isolated area to rebuild a different life. I have learned to be grateful for the past time in my life, the studio I created to practice massage in, and think of all the artistic things I'd made and left behind as promises that I can make beauty here as well. Birds and wild animals have brought a lot of joy to me here. I wish you the very best!
@@lucycorey9468 That is so touching! Ty for the kind wishes. Your inner strength and flexibility, ability to reorient, redirect your life, is admirable. I plan to keep the Comments & Replies in this section as a touchstone for my current inner development. I'm still trying to get a handle on adulting at 61. I am proud of your courage and the joy you have found in this lovely life, so far removed from the expectations of the world. May God bless and guide you.
Your thoughts & comments at the end (& your willingness to put your feelings into words) will resonate deeply & beautifully with any of us who feel those same feelings and aren’t quite able to sum up how we feel…and, then be at peace with ourselves. Having found your Chanel when you first started it, this is like watching a shy delicate flower starting to bloom… what a gift you are to many who see themselves in you, and others who just enjoy the type of content you have in each video you do 💝
I love that you love books, actual hardcover "I can touch and feel your pages books" . So happy to see you promoting that. As an older person watching your progress through life, and retired teacher, it makes my heart happy. Love your videos. They are just what we all need in this chaotic world. Bless you.
Dear Paola, your videos are the sight for sore eyes! I am dealing with a very painful loss right now. After the horror of pandemic and the war in Ukraine, which has affected my family greatly, I feel like I am crawling from one day to the next, with no energy, no resource to deal with anything. I found your channel and I watch every single video in it. They are so pure, peaceful and genuine. It means the world to me, I feel that my Guardian Angel has set your content in my recommendations. Thank you and I wish you continuous joy, inspiration and inner peace! Lots of love from Poland!
I watch your videos and almost always come away with the feeling that I’ve watched something that is, all at the same time, calming and simple and wholesome and beautiful and good. Thank you for all you share.
I miss the view at the old cottage, but your new home has a different kind of beauty. I love seeing all things in nature. Sometimes, a spectacular view isn’t always what I prefer to take pictures of. Quite often, it’s a forest path. Thank you for sharing all things beautiful 😊
"The Signature of all Things" was a book I could not stop thinking about even weeks after reading it. What a beautiful life you have created for yourself!
Same here... That book, above all it's heroine's perception of life/nature/human nature really left a lingering impression. 🌿 Also, I'll never look at moss the same. 😆
I loved seeing the cottage again. It wasn't a sad moment, just nostalgic. 💜 I'm so happy for you to be in this new chapter of your life. It does take courage but so worth it.
Your video was bitter sweet for me. Long ago I moved away and I had a carefully tended rose garden. I asked the purchaser if I could dig out a couple of them to take with me ( she didn’t like roses) but she said no. I realized I had to let it go. I drove by 6 months later and they were all dead. I worked on just sending her love and letting my loss fade away. When you mentioned returning to your cottage I realized that hurt really wasn’t gone because the sadness returned but I looked out the window and my hummingbirds dancing around their feeder reminded me every thing is fine as it is. Sending Love to all.
How disappointing the new purchaser would not let you take some of the roses and then she let them die. One wonders what goes on in the mind of someone like that. I doubt she is a happy person.
@@carolewalker2486 to be honest I found out later she went through a very bitter divorce and the house was sold a year later. My sadness about my roses paled compared to this. If she had been a friend I would have reached out to her. Now I just have forgiven her and remember often to send her love. Things are rarely as they seem
It’s such a unique deja vu experience seeing your cottage again. It’s funny how you become so attached to a place and you start to believe that specific is a part of you. But once you actually move on you realize that place was just wooden walls like any other place and that your presence and and your life is what lit up your home.
The yellow Iris is so beautiful. This year, my mom's neighbor gave her some orange iris bulbs and it was the most incredible color I ever saw... a bright tangerine shade. With her navy blue (almost black) iris and her crimson red peonies, they are my favorite flowers from her garden.
You have come such a long way since your extreme introverted days, Paola. I am so proud of you. It's lovely to watch you blossom & evolve into your new life now. Much love from Australia 💞
Your videos awaken a part of my soul that forgot to appreciate the beauty in the mundane and as a mama this is greatly appreciated. Thank you for inspiring me💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Paola, your honesty and humility about facing your fears was profound. So happy you have embraced change and that you are doing well. May you have many beautiful days ahead. 🥰
The Night Circus. One of my most favorite summer reads! My 26-year-oid niece introduced me to it about 5 years ago and now in my 72nd year, I will read it once again. Thank you for always reminding me to stay young in my heart and to enjoy the simple wonderment of my life
Thank you for this lovely video. Change is always rough but will usually bring what you need to grow. Seeing new events, people, and experience as unwelcome definitely resonate with me and how I’ve lived so far. It’s almost like avoiding mirrors in a way. I felt so comfortable being limited and settled for a life that doesn’t work for me anymore because at least that’s something I can predict. I am less anxious but dread is always overhead. I applaud you for being brave enough to accept change and sharing the experience with us. ❤
Lovely video. I love seeing your gardens from the beginning. It will be so fun seeing it develop over time. I think it's human nature to have some anxiety when trying something new. We all do to some extent. It's that feeling you have just before you jump into a pool, but once you do jump, you feel so good that you are now more sure of yourself and actually excited to do it again. Every new thing you do starts to give you happiness and a sense of accomplishment. Beauty just bursts out of your creativity and imagination and I know this new home and it's gardens will feel like a fairytale as you continue to bring yourself out in it. Thank you for another thoughtful and aesthetically pleasing video😊.
I've begun to read The Lion, The witch and the wardrobe to my daughter. She loves it and asks so many questions, it's exciting to see the story through her eyes.
Change is hard for some of us but look what you have now because of that change. A new home to build new memories in. A sweet husband to crow old with. Your so blessed . I love your videos so much.
It's so nice to see you settling in with your new life and makiing your new home your own. Your old cottage life was your preparation for your new one!
I don’t think we can ever go back. I moved out of my family home and every time I was visiting my village I would go and look at it. I was upset by the changes the new owners were making. I’ve now accepted that it is not my home any more. I still have the memories in my heart which are mine to keep forever, and when I pass I think good for them if I see a change. When you said you were moving I thought you’ll never find a home as lovely as your old one, but you have. It’s beautiful. Thank you for sharing another beautiful vlog ❤️
You're extremely lucky and to be so young. You had a beautiful cottage, your a wonderful artist, you work in a beautiful little bookstore (I wish I could visit) you're wonderfully married now, you make wonderful things besides art, I love Igar (did I spell that right) and Mr. Darcy. (I can't remember what kind of bunny you said he was, I'd like to have another bunny someday), and now you have a book coming out. I do have it on my Amazon list to buy. I know you've been through a lot to get to where you are, but you are still one of the most lucky people I know. I love nature more than anything and feel more at home there than anywhere and I would love to have a home in the forest with all of the beautiful things you have shown us at your old cottage - forests, water, views, flowers, wildlife. It's the only thing really in this world that gives me peace in my life. It calms all of my mental disorders and suicidal thoughts when I'm in nature. So this is now too long of a ramble. I look forward to your book! 🌲🌸🍄🍁🍂💕
Thank you for this moving video full of sweet memories. When I saw that your lovely wallpaper had been removed, I couldn't help but think "oh this DIY glue worked very very well !" ☺
Book: “Where The Crawdads Sing.” The beginning chapters were mostly about scenery and I thought, “enough already.” As the scenery wove its magic into the the child’s life… it captured my heart ❤️ and mind! I am not even tempted to watch the movie after the world the book 📚 created in my mind.
It's very nice to see the old cottage again! Keep on doing the good work🐝🐞🦋🌷🌺🥀! I'm a fan of yours and really admire the way you live your life! Have a nice day! 😘
You popped up on my notifications and I immediately stopped what I was doing to click on your video! ions You’re so right. I can easily let myself do this as well. I’ll get stuck in my routine and not see anyone but my husband. I rarely go out to my friends homes because I enjoy so much, my painting in my studio, as well as practicing my harp. We need to step out of our comfort zone. Each time I do this I feel so good being out.
All my lettuces are cotainerized & properly caged up so the critters can't get to them, which, I think, explains why they've done so beautifully this year & are continuing to produce so well. Again, your locale is extraordinarily beautiful, not just topographically but naturally too. Can a more perfect for you spot on the globe even be imagined? Maybe there's destiny in place too. And definitely, a children's book MUST be in the offing - and soon. I have a brand new nephew who already loves being read to & NEEDS to add your first of many, I hope, to his library.
Wow. At the end when you talked about a fear of rejection and failure is definitely me right now. My world is so small, because I’ve made it that way, but not in a good way. I hope I have the courage to step out like you one day.
Yes people are so critical of others these days and this can make a person feel worthless and insecure of themselves. Hurtful words stick . I think in this world of chasing the almighty dollar and material things is a problem. As one gets older all we seem to want is a peaceful life , no stress and at one with nature.
I just picked up "How to Keep House While Drowning", since I really struggle with taking care of myself and my home. It's gentle approach is full of self-kindness that I think you could attest to.
I thought you were quite brave returning to your cottage so soon after your move to your new home 💕 If retrieving some of your plants from the garden weren’t a factor, would you have chosen to venture back? Just curious 🧐 Many if us allow fear and anxiety to dictate our lives. It causes self-imposed limitations but your point of “working with it” is well taken! Loving 🥰 your new home with fond memories of your prior home! You’re a kind and courageous person, Paola! Thank you 🙏🏻 for sharing your thoughts and feelings and life with us!
👏👏👏👏!! That IS a triumph to reflect upon! I’m proud of you! And I totally resonate with that theme of facing fears. Realizing decisions are coming from fear is a great step- and look how far you’ve come since that realization! Thank you for sharing your journey and marking how far you’ve come. 🎁🍾🧚🏽♂️💃✨🌈🦋
I'm looking forward to receiving your book. I live in the city of Phoenix, AZ and while I live next to beautiful desert mountains, I do work for Corporate America. Every month my husband and I getaway from the city to camp in the cool mountains with pine trees, cottonwoods, and wildflowers. Along the way we visit antique shops and bookstores. My husband is from Seattle, and someday I would love to visit Trails End Bookstores. What I'm hoping to learn from your book is how to apply your slow living principles in a hot, desert, fast living space. In my backyard, I have created a haven for the beautiful wild birds, at least 15 varieties which include an abundance of hummingbirds, quail, parrots, house finches, doves, woodpeckers, sparrows, and more of which I have yet to identify. How they have adapted to our summers is beyond me. I crave green valleys, streams, shade trees, wildflowers and critters. My heart aches for them, so watch your channel and look for small ways I can weave simplicity in my crazy, city life. If you ever write another book, please consider writing a picture book with water colored wildflowers, their history and recipes that you would use them for. I have purchased a couple of vintage wildflower books on Etsy; however, I have yet to find one as I just described. I'm still looking. Blessings to you : )
It was bittersweet seeing your old cottage, but so proud of you expanding your existence and enjoying new experiences. You seem to have went from a meadow to a beautiful woods. The woods, amongst the towering trees, is where my soul finds comfort. You are so fortunate to have experienced both! Always love your narrative videos as your content always seems to be addressed directly to me and my needs. I’m so thankful for finding your channel and having you in my life.
I needed to hear this message right now! Thank you. ❤️ If you haven't read a gentleman in Moscow I highly recommend it. Amor Towles' writing is so beautiful. It has a whimsy to it that I think you would enjoy and I just love how the protagonist did not let his circumstances dictate his joy in life. Instead he chose to live life to the fullest despite the limitations placed on him by his circumstances.
I love the little cottage, and the scenery. One day, i hope to live in a place like that, even tho my current home is pretty similar, i love to be alone :) love your videos Paola, thanks for making my day
Paola, your closing comments resonated so loudly with me. I am 57 and currently quite unhappy but bound by my fears of making changes and the risks that imposes. I will be pondering this for some time and being more kind to myself and hopefully moving forward into the future with more confidence. I wish I had your wisdom at such a young age.
Such a great message. I'm in the middle of moving into a new house. And feeling sad when leaving any old places behind. I was getting used to isolation and enjoy being alone. When I go to the grocery store, I felt afraid to even leave my car! I knew I needed to change, and get out of my comfort zone. Love seeing your videos, especially your sweet animals. Love always! 💜
Thank you for your kindness! I think it was a mini anxiety attack! 😬 Yes, small steps one at a time. Sometimes I feel so overwhelmed with things to get done, but have to remind myself to take everyday one step at a time! ❤️💙 💜
My daughter has the same schedule, school and then to her room and suffers from anxiety which stops her from living. You explained so well what she needs. I try but I’m mom, thanks for wording so perfectly so I can share with her. Love your page. You are very wise for your years. Thanks for sharing beautiful simpleness.
I think my mother felt the same way when I was in that state ❤️ she knew only I could make a change, and that was hard for her even though she always offered that love and support. It takes so much time to step out of that place of emotional safety and try new things, even going to a therapist can be so scary at first - it’s been years for me and I’m still making progress! Little by little ❤️ sending you both a big hug

I'm writing a novel outside my usual comfort genre, too! It's nearly complete. Maybe one day it'll be on your bookstore shelf, Paola! Very proud of you for returning to the cottage and I hope you're having a wonderful summer.
Thanks Paola, for the reflections…they were helpful especially when you talked about facing the unknown, I just lost a job a I loved and although I know my worth and talents and skills, it s so scary and it feels so lonely and uncertain…one day I will want to look back and be proud of me for belonging to myself, but for now…all feels fragile and everything calls for Hope! I appreciate and admire you're transparency. Excited and happy for this new chapter of your life. God Bless you Paola ♥️ ♥️.
You seem more spontaneous and happy in this video. Even in the voiceover, you seem to be speaking without a script, and your voice has more of a spark.
This is just what I needed right now. I'm about to take a huge step out of my comfort zone; my life is going to change a lot. I feel pretty uncomfortable just thinking about everything I have to face. But I know it can give me so much and I really want to do it. Thank you.
Thank you so much for taking us back to your little cottage, it was nice for us to say goodbye too and I have sweet memories of all the videos that you made there in that beautiful place. Your thoughts and comments about moving helped me greatly. There are for me fears and anxieties. This is a huge journey for me to do on my own and I am so inspired by your words to us. As usual todays video was healing and serene. It is great seeing your new life coming together and you are very inspiring. Thank you so much. Carolyn
Dear Paola, I love to read children's literature. One of my favourites is The wind in the willows by Kenneth Grahame. Don't know if you already read it. Also The chronicles of Narnia, The secret garden by Frances Burnett and Jock of the Bushveld by Percy FitzPatrick. If you can find books of Dalene Matthee you may enjoy them. She was a South African writer. She wrote Fiela's Child, Circles in the forest, Mulberry Forest and Toorbos ~ Dream Forest. A range of books about the very poor South African wood cutters that lived in the 1800's in Knysna forest.

yes yes yes! Ancint-Lucia, that is just how I feel. Thank you for putting it to word. 💐
@@nancyb3315 No worries, my love. ❤️
My sentiments too. 65 years..
I do believe that the world is felt more harshly by some of us.
Well said i wish more people would understand this 😊
@@michellejarvis7878 🌹❤🩹
Wow, your comment makes me think of when Jerusalem fell to the Babylonians, and people were taken to live by the rivers there. They cried and sang songs to God there about their sorrows. They would hang their harps on the branches of the willow trees.
@@natnielsen8472 Wow, on willow trees. Is that where the name weeping willow comes from?
Seeing your vintage wallpaper ripped was so hard for my heart 💔
I miss your small cottage. Many more flowers there too. Special magic there...
“I’m proud of myself for living here and I’m also proud of myself for knowing when it was time to move on”. ❤️
Same..i clicked in seconds 😂😂😂
I couldn't choose between a holler or a mountain either. I live on a mountain now though. My country house sits on a mountain, on a hill on cleared pastures..so it looks and feels like its sitting on top of the world😂 its paradise but I feel exposed. The wind is like no other place. We get a lot of fog too..😍
Her bunny died?? When, why??
I did the same thing
Embrace it!
Sometimes a plant needs to be rerooted to expand and grow. You are doing that with marriage and a new life.
I'm so glad you are taking plants and some Earth from your original fairy cottage, like a good omen!
Best to you; such an unsung pillar in this world, but yes, as you said, it is the good we do & have done that brings the heart peace. Thank you 🙏
I'm so grateful I came across this channel...it's truly a small piece of Heaven..
I'm still trying to get a handle on adulting at 61. I am proud of your courage and the joy you have found in this lovely life, so far removed from the expectations of the world. May God bless and guide you.
Your little cottage continues to look like a scene from a fairy tale. Blessings to you as you continue this new chapter of your life.
Your thoughts & comments at the end (& your willingness to put your feelings into words) will resonate deeply & beautifully with any of us who feel those same feelings and aren’t quite able to sum up how we feel…and, then be at peace with ourselves. Having found your Chanel when you first started it, this is like watching a shy delicate flower starting to bloom… what a gift you are to many who see themselves in you, and others who just enjoy the type of content you have in each video you do 💝
Thank you, your words are so beautiful, and contain great truth! 💕
I'm always so happy, when I see that you uploaded a new video, because you never disappoint, not even once!
@DomKeyWest. I agree with not being able to stop thinking about Elizabeth Gilbert's book. She is a magnificent writer.
I totally agree!
Same here... That book, above all it's heroine's perception of life/nature/human nature really left a lingering impression. 🌿 Also, I'll never look at moss the same. 😆
@@theodora6843 that's funny about the moss! I agree.
@@debmadden4157 She really is. Elizabeth must have channeled Alma to be able to write her life in so much detail.
Wonderful garden and new plantings, summer sweetness before the heat.
I loved seeing the cottage again. It wasn't a sad moment, just nostalgic. 💜 I'm so happy for you to be in this new chapter of your life. It does take courage but so worth it.
How lovely to see flowers growing everywhere
My heart bursts with joy as I hear the meadow and animals sing of your presence! Best birthday (49 June 27th) present EVER!!👩🦽❤️🏠🧚♂️
Happy Birthday Andee!

Beautiful scenery, a piece of heaven on earth... ♥️
Yes please write a Children’s book!!! I would love to read your stories to my kids! 🌿🌈🕊🏔
It’s such a unique deja vu experience seeing your cottage again. It’s funny how you become so attached to a place and you start to believe that specific is a part of you. But once you actually move on you realize that place was just wooden walls like any other place and that your presence and and your life is what lit up your home.
You speak so beautiful and encouraging. Thank you for sharing part of your life with us. 🙏 💕
The yellow Iris is so beautiful. This year, my mom's neighbor gave her some orange iris bulbs and it was the most incredible color I ever saw... a bright tangerine shade. With her navy blue (almost black) iris and her crimson red peonies, they are my favorite flowers from her garden.
It's always bittersweet to revisit a beloved home, all the gorgeous wildflowers around bring much happiness and joy!!
You have come such a long way since your extreme introverted days, Paola. I am so proud of you. It's lovely to watch you blossom & evolve into your new life now. Much love from Australia 💞
Oh what a beautiful place!! I can see why you loved it there!! Your videos always leave me calm and more creative. Thank you for being you 💕
Your videos awaken a part of my soul that forgot to appreciate the beauty in the mundane and as a mama this is greatly appreciated. Thank you for inspiring me💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
The book store you work in is lovely! 📚 my chickens eat all my salad so I need to make arrangements to keep them out of the kitchen garden.
Paola, your honesty and humility about facing your fears was profound. So happy you have embraced change and that you are doing well. May you have many beautiful days ahead. 🥰
I loved The Silence of Bonaventure Arrow. Also, the Secret Wisdom of the Earth .
Hello Peggy how are you doing today?
The Night Circus. One of my most favorite summer reads! My 26-year-oid niece introduced me to it about 5 years ago and now in my 72nd year, I will read it once again. Thank you for always reminding me to stay young in my heart and to enjoy the simple wonderment of my life
I‘m always so happy when I see your videos! Thank you!🌿✨🌸
I think you need to experience all four seasons before you truly feel at home. Namaste and goddess blessings to you ☘️🌻☘️
Great point. Totally agree! 🙏🏻
I just discovered this beautiful channel yesterday. I cried with joy at the beauty and peace it brought me!
the talk at the end really touched me. thank you for sharing that❤️
I've begun to read The Lion, The witch and the wardrobe to my daughter.
Lovely to read your comment
We drove through Winthrop many years ago. I fell in love with it I often think of it. 🌺❤🌺
Thank you for this moving video full of sweet memories. When I saw that your lovely wallpaper had been removed, I couldn't help but think "oh this DIY glue worked very very well !" ☺
Fairyland! I'm so happy to see Valente's work here, it's so lush and fantastical.
Wonderful Book....I couldn't put it down!!! Have a wonderful day.
Agreed, lovely book!

Very few books are successfully turned into movies I think. Your mind can always create a more vivid image than can be imagined in a movie.
I loved this book! I couldn't put it down. My husband has told me there's talk about making it into a movie.
Not me. I save it for when I can relax. I enjoy knowing it is waiting for me.
You can do!❤
Yes people are so critical of others these days and this can make a person feel worthless and insecure of themselves. Hurtful words stick . I think in this world of chasing the almighty dollar and material things is a problem. As one gets older all we seem to want is a peaceful life , no stress and at one with nature.
Your life is a whisper but is so wonderfully profound. Thank you for sharing it with us.
I just picked up "How to Keep House While Drowning", since I really struggle with taking care of myself and my home. It's gentle approach is full of self-kindness that I think you could attest to.
Yes. I agree. I thought the same thing while watching and realized I need to practice patience.
That's yr safe haven and Lady cave, NEVER get rid of this.
Yr energy is overwhelming here!!💞💙💞
I thought you were quite brave returning to your cottage so soon after your move to your new home 💕 If retrieving some of your plants from the garden weren’t a factor, would you have chosen to venture back? Just curious 🧐 Many if us allow fear and anxiety to dictate our lives. It causes self-imposed limitations but your point of “working with it” is well taken! Loving 🥰 your new home with fond memories of your prior home! You’re a kind and courageous person, Paola! Thank you 🙏🏻 for sharing your thoughts and feelings and life with us!
@ R Rhines. What a lovely, meaningful comment 💕
Such a lovely comment
Blessings to you : )
I am from Seattle and lived here all my life. Soon to move to Arizona. I couldn't agree more ❤️
It was bittersweet seeing your old cottage, but so proud of you expanding your existence and enjoying new experiences.
Hello Lenora how are you doing today?
I needed to hear this message right now! Thank you. ❤️ If you haven't read a gentleman in Moscow I highly recommend it. Amor Towles' writing is so beautiful. It has a whimsy to it that I think you would enjoy and I just love how the protagonist did not let his circumstances dictate his joy in life. Instead he chose to live life to the fullest despite the limitations placed on him by his circumstances.
So heart felt, meeting new challenges can be freeing as well as scary! Blessed and safe days!
I love the little cottage, and the scenery. One day, i hope to live in a place like that, even tho my current home is pretty similar, i love to be alone :) love your videos Paola, thanks for making my day
Your new space looks amazing. Enjoy your new life xx
I'm so glad that you didn't allow life to change you or to erase that beautiful and creative place in your soul!

Next year I have to make the move from the cold southern part of Australia to the more tropical part in the North East. This is a huge journey for me to do on my own and I am so inspired by your words to us. As usual todays video was healing and serene. It is great seeing your new life coming together and you are very inspiring. Thank you so much. Carolyn
A good read " The Midnight Library " by Matt Haig. Nice video as always!
You're one of my favorite people on youtube 💜 thank you for sharing all the beauty around and in you.
Dear Paola, you just cannot imagine how inspiring you are! You spread light wherever you go! Thank you for sharing your emotions in such a courageous way. I want you to know that watching your videos brings me hope and inspiration for in hard times. So a big thank you♥️
I recently read “The Secret Life of Bees”. Loved it! If you’ve never seen the movie … don’t. Not until you read the book.
I am proud of you for facing your fears. Not everyone is courageous enough to do that. And you have soooo much to give to the world by your presence and thoughtfulness. 💛
