I've been watching vids of actual Japanese powerhouse highschools preparing for nationals, and one setter (one of the stars of the previous year's competition) was practicing back tosses and one hand tosses into something like a basketball hoop. And the kid barely missed. Those powerhouse players are no joke man.

I've been loving all the recreation videos and this is no exception! One thing I would absolutely love to know though is whether or not the people you're with have also seen the show and are familiar with it or if you just showed them the clip of what you're trying to recreate beforehand and that's what they're going off of. Like, I know the show has had a big effect on the popularity of the sport overall and brought in a lot of new people, but I want to know how many people who were already hardcore volleyballers before it have seen it too. Just how deeply has it permeated the volleyball culture for those who were already involved? Those things would be really cool to know.
Plus, if there are players who aren't already aware / haven't already seen it, you could show it to them and spread it even more! Maybe even host a Haikyuu viewing party after a game or tournament? Players from all the teams gathered up and just hooting and hollering at Karasuno vs Seijoh would be so cool to see 😃

A cool idea would be to do bokuto techniques, like a cross spike, line spike etc

Yeah, you never actually did a minus tempo because you were clearly still on the ground when the setter set the ball. It was totally doable. You just needed to have someone else receive/pass the ball because Hinata has never passed a ball that he’s then hit, you know with him being a MB and all.

I mean the duo quick seems to be just an 3 to the outside/oppo so it could be useful in game, but at that point just set the middle a 3 lol. I guess the only benefit is how unexpected it is for someone to do that.

1:52 Nope! Minus Tempo = You already jump (already in the air) before the toss.

The Minus Tempo was 1st tempo XD.
Your feet are on the ground when the setter has the ball in her hands, instead your feet need to be in the air when the ball is in the setter's hands.(Advice, no toxicity)
    Nice video.
