My budy has an 89 5spd, and has been chasing a rough running issue. Unfortunately, he's been firing the parts cannon at it instead of diagnosing it. We finally figured out it only does it for the first few mins then clears up. But happens again if you cycle the key. Doesnt matter engine warm, cold, etc. Any help or ideas?

Does the vehicle still have the smog pump and other emmisions stuff like that?

Got an 89 SEFI 5.0L/T5/8.8 in my 78 Fox
i think its an 88. Since it has a tilt column and 88 rear seat.
althought i see its not speed density if its an 89 it has some nice 88 add ons. Maybe an 88 cali car?
My 89 lx had tilt.
