Hello! Steel or aluminium is definitely preferable for sound, polishing the inside may help too? It also applies for NA induction noise, combined with an aftermarket air filter. I achieved flutter on my GF8 Subaru WRX by removing the bov and blanking the hose connections to it off. All plastic/silicone hoses unfortunately and top mount intercooler so wasn’t great. The best sound I ever heard was from a really tidy S14. There was a noticeable time delay between the flutter notes.

Really interesting, that noise isn't very appealing to me though.
