Her voice sounds so much stronger than it did during the last few shows she did during her return to stage last year. I think she’s finally warmed all the way back up to performing after such a long break because this sounds FANTASTIC.
I've been going to see Stevie live since the 90's and she's always amazing but when I started watching this video, I was lying down and then with those unusually beautiful notes that she holds, I sat straight up! This is STUNNING! I think age is irrelevant but I do think it's extremely rare to be about to turn 75 & have your voice be THIS clear and perfect ~ this is one of the most beautiful renditions of "Sara" I've ever heard!

It’s nothing short of a miracle and I’m in awe of her. She clearly has gone to great lengths to maintain her voice since she started working with a vocal coach back in the 90s. What a pro.

I was getting ready to text my sister about the quality of her voice when I saw your comment at the top and I thought, "Okay, other people are noticing that even though her voice always sounds great, it's absolutely pristine here!" I always read Rolling Stone & many other music magazines...the hard work she is very obviously doing in order to actually surpass some of the vocal quality of her 20's & 30's REALLY needs to be written about!
I named my baby girl Sara after my favourite song, she is 23 now and the poet in my heart, we are waiting patiently here in Scotland, hoping Stevie will come to the UK one day soon so I can take my Sara to finally see her live, this brought a tear to my eye 🥰

She's prob got foot arthritis from all those years of wearing high platforms. I can't wear heels anymore either bc of it. Too much pressure on the joints is excruciating. Just be glad she's still performing for us! @@kmterpin
@@karynlouisa3771 Yup! my high-heeled days are over, too. I can still manage a 2-3" wedge heel, however, which are easier on the knees as well as clogs that have a slanted heel....but typical high heels? No can do. I think I did see Stevie wearing a wedge-type heel in one video not too long ago....
