Buy the turbo torch here amzn.to/2VaUoaE

You need to run that turbo torch with the valve open enough to where the barrel of the torch doesn’t glow. That’s damaging your torch
"An air-fed torch's maximum adiabatic flame temperature is assumed to be around 2,000 °C (3,600 °F). However, a typical primary flame will only achieve 1,100 °C (2,000 °F) to 1,250 °C (2,250 °F)."
so you did quite well at temps of 2066degF and 2393degF with that turbo torch and your home made zeus which blew the rose bud out of the water with an extra 244degF
You are correct with the turbo torch, they work really hot for sure. Got one at a yard sale.
I have 5-6 maybe 7 of the old Turbo Torch STK-R with ST-3 Nozzle. 3 like new condition. I love them! I do love my bernzomatic BZ8250HT also. That torch you made is pretty badass! Great burner for a Forge!!
Sell some on eBay. The rest of us need one. 😁
totallyfrozen I’ll sell you one if you want. What’s your email
You can buy the turbo torch in stores. Call you’re local plumbing supply and ask for turbo torch stk-9
Does anyone know if the Bernzomatic bz8250ht long reach is as hot a flame as the TS8000 with mapp?
How did you make that torch the one with compressed air
Did you build the torch you showed last? I'd be interested in buying one from you.
I have a head with a 3" burn chamber would that but hotter than a standard 1"burn chamber ?
The one and only TurboTorch STK-9 !
I know it's a long shot, but I was curious if you have ever seen a torch that in concept is like the bernzomatic tornado2 only half egg shaped like a 70's Turner, so instead of having the nozzle come out the top and curve over it comes straight out the base at a 90°, with some kind of small adjustment bolt on the top where the nozzle would usually come out, and the regular flame adjustment valve directly behind the nozzle (also attached to the base). The flame it makes is similar to the the first torch you showed in your video with the exception that the torch i am speaking of whistles, and it is completely made of brass with the exception of the adjustment valve.
No question at this time. 😂
I would have loved to the orca ez torch in the test too. Its propane and atmospheric oxy as well. They claim it goes to 2,400 so how could it be hotter?
yeah i don't get that either as most butane/air lighter or torches on the market are claimed to be 2500 deg F although propane is not much hotter than butane this claim of these butane ones being much higher than what he demonstrated with those torches makes no sense
How hot is the hothead torch that you didn’t put on test?
Hao Zhu id like to know this aswell
Those are shit. Effing terrible. Waste of money compared to the turbo torch. No bs. Maybe 1000 degree difference +/-200
@@aninnymoose720 it’s about size of flame not temp, that’s to heat up a large area.
Can I have one of those old turbotorch things from yard sale, doesn't work. only puts out gas no Flame
but WHY?
The torch is a vector or look alike
Great video thanks for sharing
You can buy them at basically any plumbing supply house
They have the turbo head on Amazon for $29
Upvote for metric.

Thanks u made my fart go wet halfway to the end with that air assist demo.
