    Nice angle looking up crossing that bridge.
    Was there another motive for this location? With the heat warnings in Montana, perhaps this was a cool spot to take a video while standing in the water. Ahhhhh! Stay safe out there. 😎😁👍🇺🇲

      Thank you! I walk my dog down here every morning and let her play in the water and always thought it would make for a unique view but didn't want to drag all my gear down here so decided to try my phone. I just might bring my gear down here once it cools down. I'm actually on an island, just had to wade across ankle deep water to get here, it is a nice cool spot for sure! Thanks for watching my friend!

    Interesting to see oil train have 3 locomotive leader and new spot railfaning. What fungtion locomotive at behind end of every bnsf freight train?

    • @PacificNWRailfan
      @PacificNWRailfan  3 месяца назад +2

      Thank you! The locomotives at the rear are known as DPUs or Distributed Power Units. They are radio controlled by the engineer in the lead locomotive. They help provide both pushing power going up grade and braking power when going down grade. By pushing from the rear, it lessens the stress on the couplers. Thanks for watching my friend!
