Wow ! Love The CURE since I was a teenager. Now I'm 56 and I discover this video (The very early days of The CURE and Robert Smith). It's amazing. Always the same haunting sound ! Love it !
@@fabricefevrier7984 à french woman fan since I was a teenager. Wow ! Bonne journée !
I doscovered The Cure when I was 9, when I stayed passed my bedtime one time, and this independent channel in Puerto Rico played “Why can’t I be you”. I’m 40 now, and I still listen to them religiously every day, at least 1 or 2 (sometimes more) songs. This is a true gem.
Thx x join us!!. How is possible believe that this amazing song, that I ve been loved x years was written by an young 20 y Robert Smith 😮... I can t stop to listen to their first period. It takes me back in my youth
My First Video I watch with my Older brother was " Fascination Street" late night on regular late night Rock TV show.Crazy.It was Breath Taking.instantly I was A Cure Fan...Early 80's
I remember when Robert wrote this. He didn’t want to have it on the A side of an album because he was told it was the sound of a ‘new’ Pink Floyd sound by critics and he just wanted to be The Cure

Wow. Not heard this one before. Anyone else know it or its origins? Sounds kinda Japanese Whispers era maybe. I'd love to know more about it please.
Strangely, it's from pornography era though it sounds more like 1983-1984 (lament / dressing up / happy the man / the glove...)
Chissà dove avevo lo già sentito
