IMO the biggest problem people not from the USA have with understanding the USA and guns is simply an inherent core belief that "The powers that be control that" while in the USA the inherent core belief is "The individual is responsible for that". This does not only apply to guns but speech, dress, etc.
As a Canadian, stay in your lane. It's a different culture. I doubt there's many Americans "reacting" to things in India. Because they dont care. Why? Because they're free 🦅
Unlike what rest of the world believes, a comprehensive background check and mental evaluation is required before a gun or ammunition is sold to that person. State laws may differ
1) The background check isn't comprehensive lol. 2) No mental health eval in the vast majority of states. 3) You can just buy ammo on the interwebs or with cash at any gunstore if you're like older than 16. 4) In some states you can just buy a gun from a random dude on the internet with cash lol
The 2nd amendment would have prevented the British from colonizing India.

Mental evaluations are subjective and therefore unconstitutional. No state in America has mental evaluations.
I get my ammo delivered to my house once a month
