Tbh i don't hate nate at all. I think he isn't the bad guy in all of this. I think his dad is to blame for how he turned out because his dad beat him up in season one. Deep down he probably isn't as bad as many people think. I see a lot of myself in Nate, i was very toxic a while ago and even homophobic at some point too. So i sympathize with him as evil as he might be.

@@shaya3643 For TLOU2, a few voice actors (mainly Laura Bailey, the VA behind Abby) were sent hate mail and even death threats, DEATH THREATS, because their characters were revealed in leaks, and fans didn't like them. It was fucking disgraceful.
Same thing with Jack Gleeson and Lena Headey. Their characters are evil, and fans would send them hate mail, because they were too stupid to realize that actors are different from their characters. Jack Gleeson, after portraying one of the best villains in TV history (Joffrey), actually quit acting after GoT, because he couldn't handle all the hate he got...for doing his job well. The absolute moronity still astounds me to this day.
It's bad enough to send death threats to an artist because you don't like their art. But instead, you're sending death threats because the art is accomplishing exactly what it sets out to do. And on top of that, you're sending death threats to the wrong fucking person about it. It would be funny if it wasn't so despicable.
@@romilrh a bigger example is if y’all are familiar with marvel, there was a short series they released which is called the Falcon and the Winter Soldier and sorry for the “spoiler” but there was a character I wanna say that portrays another character and people got mad for some stupid reason that he was being the superhero played by that character. So people sent him death threats and hate and such just bc they were playing another version of that superhero and it wasn’t the actual actor. Keep in mind they’re two different characters who stand up to be this superhero. Made the dude stop using social media for a while.
He should have been nominated for an Emmy alongside Zendaya. He did an incredible job playing Nate, he's one of the best actors on the show

I love the scene when he was having a mental break down hitting his head against the floor … that was AMAZING… I love all the breakdown scenes and euphoria because they’re so raw and real ( but fake) amazing acting

He should be Batman. I've read Batman: Year One and he looks just like a 25 year old Bruce Wayne. He can definetly portray an intense and traumatic character, as he does with Nate Jacobs. For me, he is a perfect choice if The Batman with Robert Pattinson fails

For me, the best thing they can do is to introduce him in the DCEU with Batman, Batgirl and maybe Nightwing using the Under The Red Hood/Death In The Family/Lost Day stories. That way they can show how he died and what was he doing when he resurrected.

I've never watched euphoria and I don't know anything about this man but this was one of the sweetest, most down to earth, actually quite relaxing interview I've watched in a very long time. He seems lovely x

I think that’s part of what makes Nate so slimy. He can act so innocent when he needs to, but he does such awful things and seems to be in denial about how bad they are. Like, he knows there will be consequences, but can never admit fault.

Why is it so hard for people to separate the actor from the role they play? The word ACT is in their job title. The only way for anyone to be a series regular next to ms. Zendaya is to extensively train with the best of the best. That’s why people like him win Emmys. Oh my God, that's insane! I at first didn't believe he played Nate. Usually, actors have small personality traits or gestures that are hard to avoid during acting a character. But Jacob doesn't have Nate's traits, or talk like him nor does he look like him in any way. I am really amazed
