  • Here we go on another Costa Rica adventure fellow Travel Dons! In this episode of my Costa Rica Travel Guide, I take you to the ancient Capitol of Costa Rica, the city of Cartago. While not a large city by any means, this small city still has its charm. From the old Cathedral ruins, to the local markets to all the delicious food, Cartago has much to see within its small central district. The main feature being a Byzantine Style Cathedral. Built on a holy site in Costa Rica, this unique Cathedral blends old Eastern Roman Empire and Nordic architecture all in one.

Fair-Maid, I like that. Yeah keep it in mind when y'all make it to CR. It's not a big city but, there's some great history. The people are a bit quirky too. A lot of fun. An easy trip from San Jose.
