It breaks my heart to hear of your situation, you're an awesome person and I can't imagine how hard it must be to be going through this and still put such awesome videos for us. THANK YOU. This too shall pass. I love you brother.
Thanks for the lovely words and watching my video ❤️ 🙂
Shifted from iphone 11 to android now s23 ultra Just bought 2 months back very satisfied with the overall performance and zoom capabilities and battery life is also very good..
I have had mine since launch and love it .I dont use the S pen either mate . .Got the Samsung Z fold 4 as well and is amazing...Jesus mate hope you have a new home now that's awful to hear 😢..
Cheers man. ❤ Fingers crossed something comes up soon 🤞
Which of the two do you use as your main device for texting and calls? S23 ultra or your Z fold 4
Thanks again for the update on the Samsung phone.
No problem dude, thanks for watching 🙂
I switched from the 7pro to 23 ultra, only thing I don't like about the ultra is low light images are grainier than the 7 Pro and I never use the stylus as I have no use for it.. That's pretty much it. Battery life is amazing and the phone as a whole is a big win for me 👌
Try the pro mode. U will be amazed...play around with the settings...i bet u will get better results...
I like to take a photo and not have to mess with it 🤣
What happened with your home? Are you and your family ok?
Hope everything with your housing situation works out.
The Pixel absolutely couldn’t handle that daily workload of being a hotspot and nightly entertainment.
Nope not at all it’s the iPhone of android lol
@@larry-of9kh ahhh that was low lollllll!
@@eddyb4 didn’t mean it that way I had the google pixel 6 and seemed to plain to me that’s what I meant by the iPhone of android but if it was only pixel and Apple id rather pixel they do get the latest os android google updates that was a plus on the pixel 👍👍👍👍
Great Video Dude hope needs get better soon for you all much 💙 👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks mate 🙂👍
Hope all is well! I'm rather new to the channel. Tomorrow I'll be updating from my Pixel 7 Pro to a S23 Ultra, least if FedEx isn't late...
And I've been listening to a lot of different videos regarding thw S23U. You mentioned using your phone as a hotspot and then not having much battery for the rest of the day.
If i remember correctly there is a setting within Game Boost called Pause USB *something something, which basically makes it where your phone would be directly powered by the charger and bypass the battery. Perhaps you could utilize this and have the screen in the extra dim and low for a very simple game like solitaire or something. That way you'll help preserve your battery.
Hopefully this helps!
When you take pictures with the pixel on gloomy weather or during the winter weather you don't see anything. It gets completely dark
I would agree on it being hard to give up the pixel camera system as far as still photography goes. Google's photo processing is simply superior to Samsung's oversaturated crap. But things are pointing towards me getting an s24 ultra next year. Just because the phone is that much more powerful and efficient in terms of thermal and heat then the pixel phones. Though I will hate to give up the photography prowess of my pixel 7 pro and that quick shutter speed. I want a beefy and efficient phone and Google isn't about that unfortunately.
The pixel pro looks too processed and hdr'y for me. This is why I chose the s23 ultra.
Dude I left Apple iPhones 4 years ago and I had the s20 , 22 now the 23 ultra and I had the pixel I didn’t like it at all it to me was the Apple version of google devices nothing will be like a Samsung but that sucks to hear what you went through and it’s all a opinion on our devices we like
I mostly use the stylus for editing documents, photos, and as a remote shutter button. It's a non-primary feature but it does the job perfectly when you need it. Imagine a remote shutter button that stays hidden inside your phone!!!
I actually used it for that very purpose yesterday lol!
For landscape photography and objects photography pixel 7 pro was very good but when focused on human subject 90 percent of time is misinterpreted the skin tone. Specially of tropical countries. Human photography was tad better in S23 ultra.
This phone is a beast Samsung did a fantastic job i just hope they keep a good thing going with the newer phones sorry about your situation man
Thank you mate 😊
I ended up selling my s23u and going back to a P7P because I can charge my battery pretty easily whenever I need to and I hated the feel in hand of the s23U. Those sharp corners did me in.
I thought that I'm alone here. It's the same with me. The s23ultra is a beast in every scenario. But i came to a realisation that in-hand comfort is a top priority to me. Those who like big phones there's almost no better option than this
I have a nice big wallet case on my S23 Ultra, and this completely rounds off those corners perfectly I must say. It does increase the size of the phone obviously, but it still fits in my jeans no problem. It also makes it lovely and soft (but grippy) when watching media on the device. It has an inbuilt stand function too. A winner all around.
Great video update. Thank you 🙂
Thanks 😊
Good wishes to you and your family to get back to a normal life (with broadband!)
Thank you 😊
What about the speech recognition on the pixel tensor? That to me is the best feature.
Yea, but not something I personally used.
Mobile hotspot of course it's draining battery more than that.
I am stuck in a conundrum. I have the Pixel 7 pro waiting to be traded in to Samsung on my desk, and I have the s23 ultra I've been using for about 4 days. I'm a huge photog and we are going to Italy this week for a month. I really don't want to live with the regret of not having the pixel as I've been a pixel fanboy since the original Nexus line. I am very torn
If it's just for images, then I'd choose the Pixel 7 Pro lol
S23 Ultra is great phone, but camera experience..well, not so much. I actually miss my Pixel 6a, Samsung phones still have (for years now) same old issues - shutter lag/motion blur, weird (and unpredictable) processing, choppy videos... I just can't understand why Samsung ignores it, hardware is as good as it gets. Pictures of moving subjects (kids, pets) come out almost unusable on S23 Ultra, even in ideal light conditions, while Pixel 6a handled that without a problem. Camera is packed with features (that most of the users will use once or never) like Single take, Directors cut, two slowmotion modes...but for simple point and shoot, Iphones and Pixels are still better.
With reference to your choppy video problem have you tried using different video players @pacovinagrande?. This choppy video problem is not acceptable for you or for anyone. Are you talking about 60fps video or 30fps particularly?. I ask this because I find the smoothness of the 4K 60fps video I shoot on my S23 Ultra is quite outstanding and one of it's best features. You are paying good money for your S23 Ultra; have you ever thought of having it repaired or replaced or at least checked?.
@@neilmcguinness4422 video is ok until you move/tilt camera (left, right, up, down), small hiccups and lags (I call it "choppy" video) and weird color changing appear. Faster you move the camera - faster things start falling apart. Similar things happen when you try to zoom in or out (on any video mode, I tried all of them). These problems (and many others) have been present on every single Samsung device I used in last 6-7 years. My friends Iphone 11 (non Pro version) deals with same conditions quite well, compared to my S23 Ultra video recordings on Iphone 11 look like they were made with professional camera (smooth and with no color changing) I'm afraid Samsung is still not tuning camera software to be on premium level, and that's a shame because hardware and rest of the phone is pretty great
@@udruzenjejazavaca I hope that the forthcoming 1.5Gb S23 Ultra June update which focuses heavily on camera upgrades (a lot of video improvements apparently) can at least bring you some relief as regards to your problems, but all too often we wait for remedies to our issues to come in software updates only to inevitably end up disappointed.
@@neilmcguinness4422 I'm using Samsung flagships for last 6-7 years and I really don't think next update will magically fix issues. Forcing users to install third party app, Camera assistant, to "fix" things that should't be there in the first place (and failing even in that, Camera assistant doesn't really help, except for placebo effect) shouldn't really be acceptable on flagship devices. I'm ok with some glitches and bugs here and there, but S23 Ultra has same issues that have been present on Samsung phones for years. For those who buy phone mainly because of camera, Iphone (maybe even Pixel) is much better choice.
@@udruzenjejazavaca hmm, all Phones have some problems, iphone have big problem with dynamic range and red skin color of face, selfie camera on night is a crap and one of the worst, zoom camera is by far the best on ULTRa and i use a lot, picture when zooming some places and objects, buildings looks outstandings, night Camera in Pro Raw mode when know how to use is 2 years ahead from all others phone on the market, selfie photo on ultra is the best on the market also, Portet mode also is the best and edge detection is close to perfection, video is also good, all have chopy problems when moving and changhe lighting condition, video camera on iphone 11 is the same like on Iphone 14, and little is better then on ultra, but overal Ultra is still the most complete camera on market, and will be better with each updates, camera on my old s21 ultra is much better now then before 2 years, need just one or 2 updates.. only problem with ultra because have a lot settings on camera system, people like just automatic mode..
Hey, at least yours isn't in the fugly green colour like mine is!
Never regret switching
Groundtech is a Samsung hater, cant take any of his tweet serious. He also a Sony fanboy
Watch from pakistan 🇵🇰 dude
this guy is HOMELESS and is STILL rocking an S23 Ultra...while I'm cheaping out with my 300€ Xiaomi 11 lite. What's wrong with this picture ?
This was actually gifted to me 😊
@@GeekyStuff seems legit

Strange world, can afford 1k+ phone but not to pay rent.
This phone was gifted to me, idiot 🙄
you did not mention the major downgrade in the screen display, it looks dull greenish less vibrant unsaturated, black looks like dark gray and red turns to dark orange , the 2 year old S21ultra screen looks way better vibrant crisp sharp, you could read a lot of customer complaints in samsung support community site but until now there is no fix solution, the screen looks like an ordinary oled similar to lg v60, it sucks waste of money, deceived consumers
IPhone has the best OS and unique in way it looks…. Samsung and all other android phones look the same……if Samsung s21 U is one heck of a phone how comes you can pick a New S23 Ultra 512gb with a free chome book and £300 Adidas vouchers for £1000k!! This really se values the brand.
Iphone "unique" huh? It looks as stock as stock android does, and there's very little in terms of customization compared to Android. And yes, one brand trying to give you more for stuff included? How terrible, how dare they think of the consumers
Samsung and other android phones 'look the same'?.. And this is coming from an IPhone fan!..😂😂😂😂😂😂 Thank you bro for the biggest laugh out loud I have had in a long time. As I am wiping my tears of laughter away, can I try and ask you with a straight face if you don't think that one IPhone maybe looks kind of similar to the one that went before it?..😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
