You really need to make a video of the basic options as well. Examples: what would the seat covers be if I didn't add one of the upholstery kit options? Or, what is the standard tail dragger landing gear set up look like? I appreciate these videos, they are very helpful.
John great videos again. After building two SS7's I don't have any issue with building them now. But my first build had as mush research as building especially with avionics and wiring. Your videos are very straight forward and professional. I would like to see more on the not so easy parts of the build of the Kitfox. I know more time and work but there worth watching. Thanks Tom upstate NY.
These videos are worth your time to make them. Thanks and if possible, keep them coming. This definitely helps potential buyers realize just how versatile the options are and how easy you can make it for builders!
THANK YOU John for Another AWESOME video. I didn't realize the diversity and amount of options available for a Kitfox. I LIKE the uniqueness of the individually adjustable rudder pedals. 👍👍
you probably dont give a damn but does anyone know a tool to log back into an Instagram account..? I somehow forgot my account password. I love any help you can offer me!
@Dwayne Issac Thanks for your reply. I got to the site through google and Im in the hacking process atm. I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
Thanks for explaining these options. I really didn't understand all of them when viewing the Pricing Brochure PDF on your website. This is such a beautiful airplane and I want to build one. Just have to do more research first. Too bad AirVenture was cancelled. I was planning on attending and seeing a Kitfox in person.
Thank you for making these videos. They've been very informative and definitely help explain the options. A little constructive criticism on the editing....when cutting away to a more detailed shot of an option (such as the eyeball vents and the interior fabric in this video), stay on those shots for a while longer to give your viewers more time to take it in. Perhaps 4-5 seconds. Keep up the awesome work! I will be buying a kit from you in the future.
Could a door be fitted from the turtle deck to the tail to fit a stokes basket or spine board such as in the US Navy Piper ae-1? Curious as to a bush plane air ambulance option that could fit in a standard ambulance bay.
I have been following kit fox and kit planes for years. I was wondering if you have ever considered creating a carbon fiber version of your plane or at least some of the major components. I could see how you could start by creating a carbon control surfaces, the wing and then ultimately the body. I have really enjoyed your videos and hope someday to be able to purchase/build one of your planes. Thanks again.
Thanks for posting this and other videos that explain the aircraft and the options. Do you recommend that the prefabricated aluminum parts be primed? Also, is there a lot of final-size drilling and deburring to be done?
Could you provide a list or video for upgrades to older kitfox models? Such nice seats or neat features Trent and co. are installing making me wonder whats possible to upgrade.
Thanks for the video! Looking on your order forms I was really curious what your tool kits & such included and this video answered my exact questions! Do you guys offer shop tours or even discovery/introduction flights? I'm really thinking of starting an STI or super sport build in the next two years or so.
A/C eats a lot of power, at least when we're talking about engines this small, and adds a significant amount of weight and complexity to the build. The smallest/lightest systems I've seen are in the ~60lbs range. This isn't a fancy cross-country airplane with pneumatic door seals and a nice, quiet, well-sealed cabin; it's a bush plane. That said, if you really wanted air conditioning, it's a kit plane so there's nothing stopping you from adding it. The Titan XIO-340 is probably your best bet, I'm not sure if anyone makes a compressor that can mount up to a Rotax. Then again, since Sling uses Rotax engines, maybe there's something out there for them.
Too many options I can’t believe they would have something as lame as to eyeball vents as an option. It’s like buying a new car and then telling you if you want your windows to go down you’ll have to pay extra.
Last week at kitfox marketing meeting: Anyone have any ideas on how to stay relevant on youtube during these slow times... Kitfox Intern: I think we should make a video showing our owner unpack boxes. Kitfox owner: brilliant Save yourself 15 minutes of your life watching worthless unpacking of boxes and repacking them. Sometimes I wonder if youtube charged to upload videos if people would actually make an effort to provide quality content.
This is satisfying to watch. I will never build an airplane. But it is still satisfying to check the options available
These videos are super helpful.

Love these videos! My dream to fly in a kitfox
Thanks John, it really is the fit an finish and refinement of the kitfox that makes it what it is. Along with great builder support I’m sure.
As a 6'8" man, how well will I fit in your plane?
Very good audio!!! Thank you john
Is that the bi-plane kit hanging in the background?
:)

Good job. Good job Your views are up and followers growing
I need to get that hinge.

Some more very nice options.

Do you make ordinary metal if you have something special?
How do the body/wings get shipped, are they sent peice meal or is it sent as a completed skeleton?
Is there a way to defrost the windscreen?
Boa tarde queria ver com vocs
Estou tentando entrar en contato
Mas não estou conseguindo
Queria ver quanto custa atualuzado o valor do kit 5 ou 6
Another great video John very informative keep up the great work where can I get a Kitfox banner like the one on the table?

Awesome! Keep the videos coming. Quick question is their any option for
A/C(air conditioner) in the near future ?

Great vid once again 👍
Thank You, This is great!
Gracias sr. Continue asi
I’m here again because off the options.
Did someone faceSwap Lloyd Christmas and Ron Swanson, then make a youtube video?
I belive the "eyeball" parts are actually "punkah louvers"
Give him a new haircut and a new shirt and...
Too many options I can’t believe they would have something as lame as to eyeball vents as an option.
