Yes! I flew to Melbourne to watch Roger Federer play tennis at the Australian Open Grand Slam tournament. :) Now I want to go to Lune Croissanterie to try the croissants. Haha thanks for sharing!
@@JaniceFung it will be back in January! I so want to go to Lune now. I heard there is this place I think called Cupcake Central in Melbourne that is pretty good too. Have you heard of them?
Best croissant - Lune - Melbourne lol 😆 Best coffee - every where in Melbourne. Best donuts - Walkers, Daniels, Shortstop, Doughboys - Melbourne. Best weather - Melbourne - you can experience 4 seasons in one day! 😋 😁😁 we’re proud Melbournians I guess 😋
When they were still in Elwood (the suburb name) and in their first opening year, when they only produced croissants for 60 customers, we queued for 1 hour at 5 am, grabbed a ticket and queue again for another half an hour until our number got called and finally got the croissants. 1 customer could only get 6 croissants max. What an epic journey to get Lune Croissants 😂 but it’s so worth it. Our favourite is the almond frangipane, you had the right one, Janice! Whoaaa fejioa!! we love fejioa 😍 didn’t know they made the croissant from it. Great video Janice 👍🏻
Thank you! Another great video. It was just enough of a taste to let us know if we want to try for ourselves. Not too wordy or lengthy. And it was nice to have your family's perspective included. Your Mother was so impressed by the flakiness! Leave it to our siblings to not appreciate our trek we made to lug home goodies in our luggage, but family can be the most honest.
You know what Janice my family once drew 10hrs just to eat a buffet during the weekend and drive back.. If it something you love and must try hey heck yea!!!! This is awesome
The croissants look amazing, I will definitely have to check them out when I next go Melbourne. My own best croissant experience was when I travelled to France and stayed in boutique vintage cinema themed hotel (with lots of 1930's & 1940's movie posters on the walls of the hotel rooms) in Paris, which had the best croissants and hot chocolate drink for breakfast.
Thanks for this video! I am moving to Australia soon and your channel is giving me some great ideas of what food trips I can do while I’m there. Keep them coming :)
I live in suburban Melbourne, but had never heard of Lune!! Can you believe it? You have me inspired to find them and try a croissant there after the lockdowns are over and I can actually travel there. Hope they are still in business!
A secret tip for those who reside in Sydney. If you are ever going to buy bread or pastries or croissants you dont go the French patisseries, you go to the ones owned by the Vietnamese. They make the best bread in the world. No offence to the French, this is my limited experience in Sydney :)
Yassssssss LUNE CROISSANT!!!! We loveeeeeeee it so much! We are so blessed living in the city where Lune Croissanterie exists and was born here 🥰 haha.
Flew to Melbourne for a croissant!! Love it!! Best croissant in the world? 66million French people might disagree but to us that looks pretty dang legit!! Almost died when u said they sold out.😂😂 Really enjoyed this!
Nice job as usual.....I was expecting the bro to say "its awright", but a typical guy response also prevailed..LOL I am still trying to understand what possessed you to research "buttery heft and feathery flake"😁 I hope your plan is going well.....Good Morning from Sin City......
What is the fancy reheating machine you are using ? So cool I admired lune so much and now started my own croissant studio in Dali, China. I will give you a pin in Instagram. Thank you for the review again, this is the second time I watched it
tried it last year with helmi, was kinda ok to be honest not that spectacular as the hype in my opinion.. haha XD, i prefer just a plain croissant or almond :D based
Not sure if you've tried it but I actually think croissants at Muratti Cakes and Gateaux in Adelaide is actually better than Lune! Not that Lune croissants aren't absolutely delicious but you should try Muratti if you get the chance!
Wish u could go to egypt or easter island or if u dare do an underwater adventure where u film below the ocean like great barrier reef lol ... but make sure u are accompanied by a pro. Go where others like ur fans dont dare to go lol
i don't in any way understand how that would be worth $6 for a plain croissant...like you can get a croissant in france for $1.50 that's as good if not better
Have you tried something that's considered one of the best in the world? What was it and where did you go?
Yes! I flew to Melbourne to watch Roger Federer play tennis at the Australian Open Grand Slam tournament. :) Now I want to go to Lune Croissanterie to try the croissants. Haha thanks for sharing!
@@jkearns15 no way that's awesome!! i've always wanted to head to melbourne during the Australian Open but havent yet had the chance... one day!

Yesssss! Know any good places in Sydney ??
@@JaniceFung We'd say "Bourke Street Bakery" got one of the best croissant in Sydney. :)
Hi i love to support you so i went to play all your videos on my ipad for over 16 hours and counting without cancelling on the ads. hoped it helped :)

i really liked it too. i went out to grab a croissant when i was editing this video too lol
I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to lune croissant in 2019 which was before the Covid

Is the croissant in Melbourne better than those in France?
Ah why did I not know this when I went to Melb in Jan!?!?

OMG😍😍croissant is my favorite bread . I'll must try this
yes! go try it whenever you're in melbourne!

Bro! Why ya gotta throw shade on my croissant!! Ha ha!😁 just like my siblings...

I would not expect anything less from Maurice
Janice you missed death by chocolate "Koko Black Chocolate Collins street " A Melbourne treat . Now for a Croissant .

Lol

Nice! have fun!!!
I fly to Melbourne for Mork Chocolate.
Emperors new clothes here. Dry and crumbly. One if the worst I've had. I prefer soft and buttery.

Wow these pastries chef are very classy and elegant!!!
yeah they were in a temperature controlled glass box when they were making those croissants.
Giving croissants to people who don't eat them....what a waste. Lune are the BEST i've ever had. Nothing has come close. But the price is pretty high.
Janice Fun, not Fung lol
🤣🤣🤣
yeahhhh im fun
