I’ve been to Melbourne in 2015 July around this time 20 to 23rd, first trip by myself leaving SYdney, I stay for a week using $1000, I agree it’s better than us in every way
Just back fm melbourne 2 weeks ago. Spend 6 nights in melbourne alone, it was an amazing place. The food and coffee was really good indeed. If you go during spring in september the city parks and gardens bloomed with flowers. I like the trams running in the middle of roads, the city public transport is easily accessible tough. Beautiful city!! Everyone must do visit this place.
9:41 How to eat dumpling that has soup/liquid in it. Use the chopstick and quickly put in the Chinese soup spoon, sip the liquid then either you eat it right away or like you did, just add a soy sauce/any other souce available that you prefer.
Not a bad list. That lobster roll, dang! I'd also personally add checking out Carlton Gardens/The Museum, State Library, Block and Royal Arcade and Degraves St for Victorian architecture and to get that real 'Melbourne feel.' I hope you checked out at least some of those lol. How many times have you been down here? I love the format of your vids, keep it up!
Omg we’re also planning to do similar thing, just haven’t got a chance to film yet haha, just sorted out the itinerary. Anyway, we couldn’t agree more with your 1 day itinerary, this is a great one to follow 👍🏻 Cant miss Melbourne coffee and brunch for sure. Vic market is a must visit too, so many great food options to get there 😄
Super love the Shanghai Street Dumplings!! Always a favourite! Their xiao long bao is to die for, they also have chicken xiao long bao which is amazing too. Their chilli oil omg we can eat more dumplings because of their chilli oil 😍 hahahha Their steam/fried dumplings are also excellent, omg we’re drooling right now waiting for our dinner order to arrive lol
Welcome to Melbourne for a $17 tinny burger, you could have 2 medium pizzas with that price, that's why I still prefer Asian food when dinning out which is much better valued.
We love Melb coffee way more than Sydney haha.. Damn what a small lobster roll LOL Cheap eats will never fail haha.. I think this is very good video, well done janice :)
24 hours in Melbourne! What a fantastic looking city! Colorful laneway and great looking food! Bath boxes how unique and colorful! Pretty dark there at 6p. Keep forgetting it is winter down there. Penguins! What?!! We love lobster rolls but they are ridiculously expensive here in the states too!😕😁
Haha yeah, Melbournes one of my favourite cities! Yeah..sun starts to set just before 6 now ☹️ Sigh lobsters expensive everywhere hey... but getting a lobster roll from Maine is still on my food bucket list 😁
These are the type of episodes I like! I love the idea of this..I always dream of going to Melbourne one day!!! Omg tho I want a lobster roll...I wish it was bigger hehehe..thanks for showing Chinatown! I love it
Omg Australian just know their coffee. Can’t find another place for a nice cup of coffee. The 17.00 lobster roll though lolol I would rather buy a feet of lobster. Nice video. You speak very clear!
what are you most interested in when you go to a new place? their food? going sightseeing? exploring? something else?

JK the people and places a nicer than in Sydney from what I experienced
Street food
If you're in Melbourne again and wanna try a true Neapolitan pizza, I recommend Doms in Swanston St. For New York style pizza, try Sals in the cbd.

Me too brought a lot
Love how you included so many things that aren't eating! That's always the hardest part for me....finding things to do until my next food stop LOL
It was strategic; All the walking around helped digest my food so I can eat more 🤗
