- Hey guys so this is how I changed spark plugs on my car. It’s not super detailed video but I hope it helps. I’m not an expert so whatever I did it based on my own research. It has been 5 months since I changed spark plugs and everything ok. #bmw #b58 #bmwg30 #bmwm #sparkplug #mpower #bimmer #bmwusa #ngksparkplugs #bmwm5 #bmw540

How Often to Change B58 Spark Plugs?
As with many turbo BMW engines the B58 loves to burn through spark plugs. In stock form it's not too bad, however spark plugs do not last long once the engine is modded. We recommend the following B58 spark plug replacement intervals:
Stock: 40,000 - 50,000 miles
Modded: 15,000 - 30,000 miles
Depending on your driving style, you may fall on the higher or lower end of the above ranges. Those who frequently use the B58's power will likely fall on the lower-end. Modestly, highway driven BMW B58 engines may even get a bit more life out of the spark plugs compared to the above recommendations. Spark plugs are a standard maintenance wear and tear item. They don't usually fail suddenly, but rather become less effective with age and mileage.

Great car, great engine, good job!👍
Thank you and great comment 😂🙏
What's the reference of the air filter ?
Thank you .😉
Great video but you didn't mention to add Aluminum Anti Seize Lubricant around spark plug and bottom of coil pack. Very important to keep water and moisture out of your electrical system, prevents rubber gaskets from drying and cracking and seizing, and helps mitigate any dust or alkaline.
No you dont need antiseize
What was the mileage when u changed them ?
Did you gap them at all
No, but I guess you have to. I found mix info saying its better to gap and some said its ok. Its been like that for over 20k miles already
The torque is 23lb-ft
23NM or 17lb-ft
@@Mr.Teostro yeah 23nm 😘
