Thank you for this recipe!! I made this for my husband's birthday and he loved it so much! He asked me to make another one for his family! ❤ Anyway I did some innovation since I'm allergic to wallnuts, I replaced with Almond and hazelnuts. And I made it in bigger proportion since my cake form is bigger. I just adjusted a lil bit more of each ingredients. Turned out heavenly! Thank you!!!
Interesting. I’m not vegan or gluten free, but I like what you did with the crust. I never thought about using dates as a binder for walnuts. I’m definitely going to try that. I’ll use a tart pan though. Ikea has a super cheap one that I found. I’ll add edible flowers to finish the top.

yeah you can use maple syrup, i get a lot of stuff from buy whole foods online :)) I sell them from London ( south ) and you can message me what you want to order :)

I made a similar recipe recently it is really rich and delicious. But! Be aware that you MUST cool your blueberry jam before layering it over top as the creamy filling will melt if you do not. Still tastes good, but it may overflow in the pan...yeah, I’m telling you this because “a friend” made that mistake! 😁

Lisa Gardner Heyy it’s ok! The colour might not be so purple as it depends on what type of blueberries you use! The standard white ones that are commonly sold won’t have this colour, I used wild blueberries that are blue inside !
you can do both, but freezer is faster and also keeps in there for much longer. The colour will also change once in a fridge, so best to consume within a day!

heyy im not sure it will work for this dessert, as coconut oil is a base fat, which solidifies in cold temperature, apple sauce will not solidify!

no you have to use just the top part, place in the fridge and it will harder you will see :)
