Do you get pain on passing stool, and is your stool bloody? Do you experience itching and irritation at the anal opening, often with tiny bumps there? Well, these are all symptoms indicative of piles, a condition that occurs when the veins around the rectum get inflamed. This condition is not only painful, but obviously embarrassing too, as often the person afflicted finds it difficult to sit comfortably.
Many find it an ordeal visiting a doctor, so try a few simple remedies to see if they relieve the condition.
Make a thick paste of cumin powder and water.
Apply this around the anal opening.
Wash off after 10-15 minutes.
Do this 2-3 times a day.
Take a white radish and wash it well.
Crush it, and add enough milk to get a thick paste consistency.
Apply over the affected area, leaving it on for 10-15 minutes.
Wash it off with plain water.
Do this twice a day till the condition clears.
Wash a white radish and grate it.
Extract the juice, and consume ¼ cup twice a day.
Do this regularly if piles is a recurrent problem.
Finely crush some ginger and some mint leaves separately.
Mix them in a 1:2 proportion.
Now extract the juice of this.
In ½ cup of the juice, add 1 tsp of lime juice and 1 tsp of honey.
Mix well, and have a couple of times a day.
Piles can prove to be extremely uncomfortable, so make sure you include a lot of fibre and liquids in your diet to keep the bowels moving smoothly. Eat healthy, and stay healthy.
